This place was absolutely beautiful, loved the decor with the antiques, and really enjoyed the outside deck and carport, beautiful views, and Nell and her husband is awesome.
I will no doubt stay there again!
Cozy, clean, comfortable. Peaceful and serene country home. It is well looked after and you can feel the peace soon as you walk in. Here for a family reunion & it was so nice to come back to this home at the end of each day to re-charge and refresh.
The location was absolutely beautiful, and the house was immaculate! It was exactly as described. The view from the deck was astonishing in the mornings. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful. Beautuful location. Wakeup to rolling hills, fresh air and mooing cows.
Very clean, large kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Soooo relaxing!
Look forward to returning.
Very impressed, the house was very clean, we loved how it was decorated. The property was in a quite area but not isolated, the town was about 15 minutes out should we decide to go. All instructions concerning the location was easy to follow. The view was beautiful and would definitely recommend this rental and would be pleased to use it again.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Maw's House. Come back anytime.
This country home exceeded our expectations. It was very nice and had every amenity plus. Exceptional for younger ones as well as older or handicapped guests. Very peaceful location. The host was very attentive in providing directions and information leading up to our trip. I would highly recommend.
this house is just wonderful. Large kitchen. plenty of room to rest. All the kitchen appliances and utensils you would ever need. laundry room, warm house even on Cold mountain mornings, beautiful views. wish I could buy it! it's a wonderful stay and the hosts are so gracious.
Maw's Place was very clean grandma's style home. Full of county charm. Everything works. We enjoyed it when the cows came over the hill in the mornings and spent most of the day around the fenced back and side yard.
We rented this beautiful home for a revival speaker. Although I did not stay in it personally, the home was emaculate with beautiful surroundings! Nell was wonderful and helpful and we will be renting this home again. Thank you!
The stay was better than I imagined it would be. Beautiful country view with green meadows and cows. So much history in this house. So many things in the house reminded me of my mother. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. It is the best place we have stayed. The communication with Nell was better than great. He stayed up late to help us find our way. We arrived in the dark and Nell was ready for us with the lights on so we could safely enter the house. I can’t wait to return and book this country cottage.
This property is very nice and inviting. It is handicap friendly in some aspects. Bathrooms have grab bars and a ramp entry way. Unfortunately, the living room is furnished with parlor chairs and low sitting couch. My husband has back issues, so finding a comfortable chair to sit on was a challenge. He ended up using a wooden chair with a pillow on the seat and a pillow for his back. The only recliner available for sitting was in the master bedroom. The kitchen seating available are small/dated, uncomfortable. I feel this home was not well stocked (paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, dryer sheets/balls, no condiments in refridgerator, very little cooking seasonings.) In the main bathroom, small bars of used soap left in drawers-unsanitary. Location of property is peaceful, serene. Owner is very nice and responsive. Overall, we had a good stay.
We were visiting friends in Jonesville and found this little country gem! One of our travel collegues was in a motorized wheelchair and this house was perfect with handicap access and bathroom. The host was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. It was extremely clean and neat. Great view of the back. It was a very peaceful and beautiful location close to many attractions. Thank you - we wil be back!
Amazing host! Place was immaculate and plenty of room. Even left the lights on for our late arrival! Will be back again in the future. Tons of hiking near by, everything you could want in the kitchen for cooking. View out of the back with morning coffee is perfect for relaxing and watching the cows graze.

This quaint home, located on a working farm, it’s the cleanest I’ve seen in my travels. Back patio overlooks mountains with grazing cows, which thrilled our teens. Would definitely recommend this home if looking for something in this area!
Booking software was rather messy but property owner was excellent to work with. Some instructions for finding the house would help.

The guest had the exact address of the house. When the guest got within 3 miles of the house he contacted me. I responded immediately and stayed on the phone with him until he reached the house. After all, this house is listed as being in the country. Part of the beauty of the home is that it is in a rural location.
The property is beautiful. The scenery is stunning. The home was just what we needed. Nell is an amazing woman with an amazing vision to have a home for people to come home to.
