This was in a great location to get to downtown Vancouver or go exploring in the Portland area. The main thing i would note is that the driveway is very steep and narrow, so be cautious if you have a large vehicle. Our large suv fit ok with the mirrors tucked in. A random comment i would have, is that even tho the shower head isn't very high up, the water pressure is excellent, which can sometimes be a weird concern in some air bnb's.
Everything was great. It was very easy to get to and from the Portland Expo center. The only struggle was the shower head as we couldn’t adjust the pressure. For our family to was too intense, great for people who like that.
The home is so cute and cozy. We love it. TWe have now stayed twice ans will definitely be back. The host Colin is fabulous, very good at responding quickly to questions and kind. He drove an hour to come let a bird we noticed was trapped in the lovked garage. I cant say enough good things about this sweet place. We brought our cat Alfie and he is a huge fan as well. 10 out of 10
Main bedroom off the kitchen was quiet and bed was comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed for coffee and more. Close to downtown and the waterfront district. Home was clean and cozy. Will stay again when we’re back in town.
The house was great! Well equipped kitchen, cleaning stuff, bathroom, even a first aid kit which came in handy for a bandaid. Thank you for a great place to call home while we were in town for a family wedding!
The home was very comfortable for my family of 4. The beds were cosy, the furniture well laid out, and the house/neighborhood was peaceful. 10/10 would stay there again.
Perfect for visiting family in the area for the holidays
We loved our stay. Being located right off of I-5 and a great neighborhood to walk our dogs in up the hill from the place. The fenced back yard was also great. Very comfortable beds.
I gave the cleanliness a 3 because the outside of house and neighborhood were shabby. As other guests havev stated, the deiveway up is tretcherous. Do not back up with a standard vehicle! Our clutch lost quite a few servicable miles! However, once inside the house, a totally different vibe. Though an older house, the inside was comfortable and welcoming! Kitchen had all we needed (except a bigger pot and non-functional crockpot) to make multiple meals. Washer and drier available, too! Instructions should be near as it it is a new-fangled kind!Beds are very comfortable. One bathroom worked fine for 3 people. Air conditioning systems worked fine in it’s defined place, but did not cover the one bedroom without a unit. Fortunately, it cooled down at night and we got fresh, cool air to come in. Best shower I have had in years! Bring your own shampoo/soap! Tub plug did not stay down for bath. I am sure the host will get fixed. We were going to have a dog with us, but she had to stay home for unforeseen circumstances. The yard would have been perfect! There are a-lot of mole holes! Likely ONE very busy mole!Thank you for a comfortable stay! The host was very responsive and responded quickly with multiple questions over several weeks. Thank you!
This was a cute bungalow. House was clean, the back yard was great for the dog. Near lots of things and we found some walking trails nearby. Would definitely stay again.
This was a great house in a nice location central to Portland and Seattle. The bedrooms were quite comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and it has a nice BIG yard. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, and the pet-policy is great. I will definitely stay here again.
A comfortable and spacious stay that allowed us to have a homebase while we explored the area, including the Oregon zoo and a comedy show. Great communication, as well as not too many tchotchkes that my kids could knock over. The driveway was steep as advertised, but it didn’t present any kind of problem for us. Easy to get up!
This was a lovely house with everything you need supplied. The kitchen is more than adequate for preparing meals. The best part of this house is the huge fenced backyard and the mid 20th century architecture. It's very close to the freeway so getting around town and into Portland was super easy. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.
