I would have loved to have given this property a 5 but dealing with hosts in my job position, I tend to critique. The host himself was awesome, very accommodating, and responded quickly to any questions that we might have encountered. I was a little disappointed in the unit though. Simple fixes just things to be aware of for future renters to get the most out of their vacation and staying there during down time. Down stairs bedroom was very isolated with no TV, dresser to put clothes in, and a small refrigerator to put drinks in. For those disabled and handicapped makes it difficult for them due to the stairs. The kitchen was fabulous, actually my dream kitchen. Beautiful and homey but again. We had 4 adults with only two coffee cups if you wanted to short out on the porch in the mornings watching the fish jump. You supplied coffee K cups but no cream or sugar. The vent hadn't been cleaned in forever affecting the airflow. The bedrooms had no dressers or a mirror in them when getting ready and having a place to store your clothes. The beds were comfortable, the pillows, not so much and not enough. And there are no blankets if needed, since people like different temperatures. So my thoughts are this, if a motel can charge what they do with accommodations, you would only hope that someone who hosts would have that same concept. If you accommodate six people max, make sure you have enough for everyone. Now on the good side I loved everything else! The fenced in backyard for the dogs, the dock was beautiful especially at night when you can see everyone's lights, The ability to eat dinner outside. My favorite is still the dock and kitchen!!! I would definitely recommend this place!!! They're just a few inexpensive things that could make it even better!!!
