Needs a Little TLC
Overall, my family and I had a great vacation at Pensacola Beach. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. However, this condo could be so much better with some changes and additions. First, all 3 TVs need to be upgraded to smart TVs. For the price we paid, we expected smart TVs. The living room TV froze up in the middle of 2 different movies and wouldn’t turn off. The appliances could also use an upgrade. The water dispenser didn’t work in the fridge and the oven took 30 minutes to preheat. The kitchen only had the very bare necessities. A keurig would be a great addition. The master bedroom door doesn’t lock. The sheets were cheap and barely acceptable. The couch foldout bed was very uncomfortable. The door from the 2nd bedroom to the balcony was very difficult to open. The bedrooms had very little drawer space. The kitchen trash can was too small for a 6 person condo. And lastly, the jets in the master bath tub were disgusting. I was hoping for a hot bath because I don’t have a tub at home but that didn’t happen unfortunately.
We did enjoy some things about the condo. The half bath at the front of the condo was nice to have. The balcony is large with plenty of furniture. The view is absolutely amazing. The master bed was comfortable. The master bedroom has 2 roomy closets. The split floor plan is nice. The condo has tile throughout. Overall, the condo has been well-maintained.
We’ll stay at Portofino again next year but will find a different condo.
