200 + year old Log farmhouse full of antiques. Awesome and friendly hosts. Deer all in the yard. Holston River across the road. If you love history you should not miss this opportunity.

Thank you for the visit and kind words!! It was a pleasure to host you all and I hope to have the opportunity to host y’all again one day.
This was such a cozy retreat for us. A glimpse back in time. Wonderful hosts with good communication. House was very clean and interesting. Beds comfortable and lots of blankets and linens. We just needed some extra sleeping space for our near by family Thanksgiving, but we ended up getting so much more!

Arrived at this beautiful historic home on a Saturday with three other longtime friends for a girls getaway. Perfect space for us all and found the accommodations exactly as expected. Comfy front porch for sitting and chatting; the hot tub out back was perfect for an afternoon soak after our hike to the Devil's Bathtub where a couple of us did the cold plunge! And our Sunday evening meal was enjoyed al fresco on the patio with a view of the mountains. Jeff was quite accommodating and met all our needs - he even built a fire in the firepit to enjoy the first night. The history of the homestead is quite amazing and I hope to return in the future!
Our family of 7 had an unforgettable experience here! We can't rave enough about the gorgeous historical cabin, the breathtaking mornings surrounded by mountains and land, not to mention the outstanding hospitality provided by Jeff. The cabin has every amenity that you could possibly need during a week long stay with kids. Our kids had a great time hiking, playing in the creek out front, and exploring the grounds. The stay was comfortable and peaceful; we thoroughly enjoyed our mornings and evenings sitting on the front porch or playing family games by the fire place. We highly recommend staying here. Jeff made us feel like old time friends and went the extra mile to give us a history lesson on the home and families that owned it. Thank you for everything, Jeff, we will see you on our next visit!
Entering the Fulkerson-Hilton House was like stepping back in time with the exception of the modern amenities that have been nicely added. Jeff and Rebecca have done a fabulous job decorating, renovating and hosting this wonderful home. Grab a blanket, snap on the fire and curl up on the sofa with a good book! The kitchen has just what you need to prepare a meal, you might want to grab a few groceries on the drive in and don’t forget to toss your slippers in your suitcase to keep your feet warm as you sip your morning coffee! We enjoyed every moment of our stay and added Hiltons and the region back on our bucket list. Thank you Jeff for your time and sharing the history of the house, a nice added touch.
This place was absolutely beautiful! The history of the house is amazing. The owners were wonderful answering all our questions immediately. The house has everything you need. We enjoyed it so much and look forward to going again soon. Thank you for sharing your home and piece of history with us.
We had the BEST time at the Fulkerson-Hilton House. A step back in time, a quiet getaway, a taste of country living…you just can’t say enough. Everything about the process was amazing. Communication with the Host was beyond any expectations. This was our first visit but it certainly will not be our last.

Thank you for the kind words and we would love to welcome y’all back anytime!! I’m sure we could sit around and talk about the local history for hours and I could point out the spot supposedly where Chief Benge looked down on the settlers and decided not to attack since they were doing a barn raising. So much rich history in this area!! :-) come back anytime!!
Wonderful place to relax, enjoying nature or taking in the history of the property. Jeff was a great host, quick to answer any questions we had, met us upon arrival and gave a quick tour of the house. Our 12 yr old grandson made many memories and we all look forward to a return visit.
My sons & their wives stayed here for a funeral, after a very unexpected death. A very difficult time made easier by the hosts & this lovely, quiet, peaceful home.
Enjoyable family gathering at charming historic home
