Enjoy the marvellous view of the bay at any time of day and even at night when the moon shines on the sea. Spend lots of time outdoors on the shared terrace having a barbecue. Fans of active holidays can look forward to numerous cycling and hiking trails that take you into the surrounding forests. You can quickly reach many destinations in the area by car. Nearby Matulji, also known as the gateway to the Opatija Riviera, is famous for its bell-ringing tradition, which is on the UNESCO list of intangible heritage. In the local taverns, you can try local specialities as well as jarbola, a wine with a specific taste made from the local grape variety. Opatija, the centre of the Riviera, was once a famous health resort and is now a popular wellness and health tourism centre for tourists from all over the world. Due to its mild and pleasant climate, a combination of coast and mountainous hinterland, it is an ideal holiday destination all year round. One of the sights that adorn it are houses and villas with interesting architecture from the Habsburg era. One of these is the Villa Angiolini, which houses the Museum of Tourism. Cultural events include numerous concerts and festivals in the summer. You can take day trips to the nearby islands or to the national parks of Uka, Risnjak or Plitvice. Take a day off for a day trip to Istria.

Property never found; if it exists at all

I contacted Novasol several times before the day of arrival to obtain the name and contact information for the key holder/ property manager. I never received that information. Since we had the address of the property, we went to where the address should have been and did not find the address or the house. We looked for More than an hour and a half and spoke to two people in the neighborhood who said they did not know where the house was; although in one case the persons house number should have been next door. We had to rent a hotel for the night. It was a very frustrating endeavor from beginning to end.

Wohnung mit Traumblick und einer netten Vermieterin

Nach anfänglichen Zweifeln ob wir überhaupt fahren können, den laut einer Rezension war die Wohnung gar nicht auffindbar und die Telefonnummer die wir von Novasol bekommen haben war auch falsch, habe ich durch Internetrecherche die Website von Danila Hermann und Ihrer Wohnung gefunden, von wo wir auch die richtigen Kontaktdaten bekommen haben. Nach einem Telefonat mit Danila, der Vermieterin war alles klar und wir konnten fahren. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und auch die Wohnung mit einem fantastischen Blick über die Kvarner Bucht und der gemütlichen Innenausstattung hat uns begeistert. Die beiden Klimaanlagen haben die sehr heißen Tage erträglich gemacht. Danila ist eine supernette Vermieterin, die uns zur Begrüßung schon eine Flasche selbstgemachten Wein in den Kühlschrank stellte und uns außerdem mit Gurken und Tomaten aus dem eigenen Garten versorgte. Zur Freude unserer Kinder hat Sie uns auch noch eine ganze Platte Palatschinken in die Küche gestellt und uns zum Abschied noch mit Schnaps beschenkt. Alles in Allem hat die Wohnung wirklich Bestnoten verdient, nicht jedoch der Kontakt mit Novasol, welcher nicht ganz unproblematisch war.
