NO BETTER VIEW THAN THIS

This beautiful full log home overlooks Henrys Lake with views of the Sawtelle Mountain range and the Tetons, you will not find a better view in all of the Island Park area. Only 13 beautiful miles to the west entrance of Yellowstone.

This home has undergone a complete renovation in 2022. Four master suites each with king beds (one room is two twin xl beds but can be made to a king upon request) and each has their own private on-suite bathroom. Great Stay

Stunning Views

Beautifully decorated and appointed home overlooking a spectacular mountain lake vista. Location was great for our daily visits to Yellowstone. Beds were very comfortable and everyone appreciated their own ensuite bathrooms. We viewed moose, pronghorn and sand hill cranes from the deck. Wonderful stay!

What a view!..and what a place!!

So many cute details to this property, and the view is incredible. My teenage boys loved having their own rooms, and all the linens & bedding are super nice and comfy. Loved the patio and the fire table is a nice touch. Great location to explore Yellowstone as well!! Enjoy.

Lovely Lake Property

Very comfortable, rustic lake, well appointed home. We stayed here while exploring West Yellowstone. House was clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms well outfitted. The location was great and lake views magnificent. Earthquake Lake and Virginia City also easy to get to from this spot.

What a beautiful home! The view was spectacular, and the house was carefully decorated and very comfortable. It was the perfect place for a group of friends to stay and enjoy Yellowstone and the surrounding area.

So lovely!

Just spent several days at this property and loved it! Both the house and the view were truly beautiful. House was clean and very well stocked. It had everything that you could need. We visited Yellowstone several times during our stay. It was an easy drive to the park. Nancy was a terrific host. If you rent here, you will not be disappointed!

Great accommodations and hosts.

We wanted a cabin that accommodated 6 adults with a view and close to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons National Parks. This cabin surpassed our expectations as did our hosts, Nancy and Rees. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, enjoyable, and informed. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to return soon!

Location, Location, Location!

NO BETTER VIEW THAN THIS was a perfectly located and beautiful vacation rental. It was an easy drive from West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. We sat on the deck each morning and evening to enjoy the spectacular and peaceful view. Nancy was a terrific and thoughtful host, and the home was well-equipped. Everyone enjoyed their lovely in-suite bedrooms & baths. Perfect in every way!

The view from the living area was drop dead gorgeous. The house was clean and inviting. Nancy and her husband were so accommodating and even let us check in early. The house is decorated beautifully.

Awesome cabin

Great cabin for a large group. View of Henry's Lake is spectacular. Loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the sun set. Individual bathrooms for privacy and lots of space throughout the cabin to be separate from the large group when needed. Well decorated throughout.

Simply Fantastic.

Our family vacation was wonderful and this home played a huge role. Each day we looked forward to getting “home” to eat and relax. It was located centrally to our activities (Visiting Yellowstone Park; Fly Fishing; horseback riding and spending time in West Yellowstone. Nancy and Reec were excellent hosts and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Great location, space and style

This property is in a great location if you are looking to steer away from the crowds at West Yellowstone . The house functioned well for us with bedrooms on each level. Private bathrooms were great luxury. Beautiful view of lake. Property owner was responsive and helpful.

Amazing vacation home

We were visiting from Hawaii and had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. We used it as our home base for trips into Yellowstone and it was perfect. The home is gorgeous and perfectly laid out so that there are places to gather and places to have your own space. Our kids actually cried when it was time to leave because they loved it so much, as did we. We will absolutely stay here again when we return and couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience. Simply amazing.

Unparalleled

This was by far the best VRBO we've ever stayed at. The host thought of every detail from radios for the park, coolers for daytrips, a working gas grill, to condiments and spices in the kitchen. The property itself is fantastic, but the host was even better with anticipating all of the things you'd need to feel at home. Absolutely first rate.

Great Property!!

We really enjoyed our stay, Communication with Nancy was great!! Awesome view of the lake, enjoyed watching the planes scoop water from the lake to fight the forest fire close by. The only downside with this property there’s no air-conditioning even with all the windows and doors wide open it was 84° Inside, in the afternoon and early evening.

Our family stayed at the R Ranch for 4 days in late Sept. We all fell in love with it. As first time visitors to the area it was exactly what we were looking for. The decor was amazing and every room was special. The cabin was Cozy and very well supplied. The views are fabulous! We went out exploring every day and came back to a glass of wine on the deck. Out of all the places we stayed between ID, Jackson Hole and Gardiner MT ...this place was our favorite. Thank you!

Amazing home

Our family has stayed in many vacation properties, and I have to say, this is one of the most beautiful, comfortable homes we have ever reserved.. The hosts provided everything you could need to enjoy your stay in this amazing place. From bear spray, to binoculars, to cosy blankets, it was all there. The view from the deck and living room is truly breathtaking. Each bedroom and bathroom is spacious and gorgeous! We were very sad to leave, and hope to return for a longer visit in the future.

Fabulous location for visiting West Yellowstone

The premier host, Nancy, was just the perfect host! The house was so beautiful and the view was like no other. Morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake and snow capped mountains was so beautiful to wake up to and evening sunsets. I would love to come back again and will definitely be wanting to stay there. Thank you Nancy for the wonderful hospitality and kindness you shown. There were three couples and we each had our own floor. Perfect!

We bought our first cabin on Henry's Lake in 2014 and have been working hard since to renovate log homes (Rees and I work together and do all the renovations) and offer them as amazing vacation rentals. Rees owns his own commercial hardwood flooring company and I have been buying/renovating and decorating homes for the past 15 years. When we bought this home I just knew it needed a Ranch feeling and a taste of the American West.

Why they chose this property

Rees always teases (complains and grumbles) that "It's never done"... I always say "that's not true" but... "It's never done" happened one more time (for the third time). So here's to Rees. R RANCH. One more huge labor of love and we are so excited to share this one with you. So to answer, why this property? Because, it's amazing and you will not find a better view anywhere.
