The North Sea to the west, the Limfjord to the north, the magnificent Klosterheden nature reserve to the east and flat sandy areas to the south. Could you wish for a better starting point for an unforgettable holiday? At the Limfjord, the old Viking country, history is still alive and with a lot of luck you will find fossilised arrowheads or a stone axe on the beach. You can also visit the Ertebølle Stone Age Centre and the exciting Hjerl Hede open-air museum, where you can learn about the history of a Danish village in the historic houses and show workshops.
