"La Maison d'amis" has been converted from a 16th-century detached cottage located in the courtyard of a castle dating back to the 13th century. Set in the heart of nature, within a 7-hectare park, with no neighbors except the owners, the surroundings are utterly peaceful, disturbed only by birdsong and the river below. The 120-square-meter house features, on the ground floor, a living room with an open fireplace, a kitchen/dining room, and a pantry; on the ground floor, a TV lounge on the landing, two separate bedrooms (1 single bed and 1 double bed), and a bathroom in the tower (large shower, 2 sinks, toilet); on the second floor: a large bedroom (1 double bed and 1 extra single bed).

A pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay at the gite. The landlord welcomed us warmly and gave us tips of activities in the surroundings. We walked very beautiful hiking tracks and visited cute medieval villages. The gite was clean, cozy and practical. We all slept very well and enjoyed very much the charming countryside scenery.

Wonderful

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and of course the extra help. It was so beautiful and serene. We cannot wait to visit again in the summer. Our hosts were beyond kind to us. It was an honor to experience a piece of history.

Quelques jours passés au Château de Lavaud Promis! Enceinte médiévale restaurée avec goût. Bérangère et Guy sont disponibles et à l'écoute.

Très bien

Superbe location a 15 min d'Aubusson, au grand calme et au soleil. Un excellent accueil de Guy qui même s'il réside dans l'autre partie du Château est très très discret et charmant. L'équipement de la location est parfait et les photos sont fidèles à la réalité Bref un excellent séjour pour qui recherche calme nature et sérénité pendant quelques instants Je recommande grandement
