Loved our stay. The room was clean, well furnished and surprisingly quiet with it being off the main road and train tracks. We both slept well through the night. Great location for a quick over night trip. Great communication from host from booking to check out as well!
This lovely property is close to everything. It is downtown so there is some noise from vehicles and trains, but for us they weren't intrusive.
The rooms are very nicely decorated, comfortable and everything a traveler needs is provided. Definitely will stay here again!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Property was easy to access, great communication on everything we needed. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Close to the river where we were exploring and boating. It was a nice stay. Thanks Jeff
We had a great time in Prescott & our room was perfect for what we needed.
My partner and I both needed to work throughout the week, but still wanted to explore a new area. The location made that easy, and the coffee shop across the street was a nice little treat!
We did have a small issue (due to power outage from a storm) but the owners were easy to communicate with & made sure the issue was taken care of promptly.
Everyone in Prescott was so friendly! We really enjoyed our stay. :) Thank you!
Our second stay, different room, just as charming!!
I brought my daughter for a post Christmas mini trip and we stayed in the Vermillion room. This was our second visit and it exceeded our expectations just as much as the first. The room was decorated so beautifully - we loved the holiday touches. The bed was super comfy and it was so nice to play games in the little lounging area with the couch and ottoman. We took advantage of the many close restaurants and parks for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you again for your amazing hospitality.
Once again this property does not disappoint. It is located downtown so you can walk everywhere. Of course being downtown comes with some noise, and there are trains that go by, but with ear plugs that are provided and the white noise machine most people would not have a problem.
The property is very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Everything you could need is anticipated and provided. Well done!
PETS WELCOMED!! This was a huge win for us! Also, the main reason for giving a 5 rating!
I wouldn't say luxurious, however the price of the stay matched the facility and amenities.
A 2-person dining table would have been nice, near the one window.
Location is down town, and I'm happy it was quiet over the holiday because I can see it being unbearably loud on a summer weekend.
All in all, I would stay here again if i needed to.
I stayed at The Port for a two-day yoga and meditation retreat. The extra space in the room was great for yoga and meditation. The location could not be beaten, with easy access to hikes and the river where I took in beautiful sunsets. The coffee shop across the street is wonderful, and the proximity to restaurants was ideal.
This property was in the perfect spot for walkable access to many restaurants and bars. We used it as our central starting spot for site seeing in the area. Very nice weekend getaway!
The property was exactly as shown. Much larger than a normal hotel room. It was furnished more like a unique room in a home with more personal items on shelving and fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel was very quiet as we never heard anything from any of the other rooms.. A washer/dryer is right down the hall. Free parking was a block away but you can park right out front to unload/load. There is a Keurig coffee machine with a large selection of coffee and tea in the room. Several good restaurants are only a block away so no car needed when there. The only problem was not that of the hotel but the trains located just a block away run all hours of the day and night. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Port Hotel.
