Photos of the property and pontoon need to be updated. If the property was in the condition of the photos it would have been worth the cost. But those photos must be MANY years old and do not reflect the actual property condition.

No fitness room or sauna as advertised. Spent a lot of time cleaning the outdoor grill. Shower was amazing. Didn't find the life jackets for kayaks. Really enjoyed the kitchen. Outside sitting areas very nice. Struggle to find the sleeping areas as advertised. Plenty of room for 8 but 12 was very crowded for sleeping. Would have been nice to have remotes labeled or book to instruct how to use them all. Overall Keith was a good host and we enjoyed our stay.

I guess I should have looked closer but 4th bedroom was only a couch/fold out. Not very private as attached to another bedroom by a jack and Jill bathroom. The stairs are vintage MCM and dangerous for little kids. Built at a time when we didn’t have seatbelts either. It’s a nice home but peeling paint and chewed up doorways from owner’s dog. The downstairs bathroom has some significant moisture and mildew issues. The bar stools are too tall for the large table making it difficult to sit at. Air conditioning kept resetting at 77 degrees in 90 degree weather. The beach was covered with goose droppings. A lot of tattered furniture at the beach. Also had to clean the blackstone before use. Kinda gross.

This very comfy & roomy home, sits alongside the Grand River ( great views). It was close to the wedding venue we attended, it was dog friendly ( signs of a GSD throughout) big TV’s came in handy on football Saturday, and we able store many wedding supplies in the garage. Hope to return one day.

My new in-law family stayed here to be in town for our wedding. They enjoyed the house and the property. Wonderful kitchen! We really loved the outdoor spaces! The pets were happy as well. While we didn't realize the two upstairs rooms would have little privacy from each other, the situation worked for our group. We will use this home again in future for family get-togethers.

Location and Neighborhood were great and the communication with the owner was seamless. He was easy to work with, flexible, and responsive (much appreciated!) Aside from a few minor things, e.g., having to use the keys instead of the code and some lack of securing of furniture to the walls for infant safety, all was well.

Family Visit

This proprrty is a great place to stay. Convenient to everywhere!! Bonus was watching Riverboat turn around right in front of the property beach front! We came to visit family, they came to us, we didnt have to go to 5 or 6 differnt families homes. PLENTY of room here inside and Especially outside!!

Great riverfront location

This is a comfortable home with many amenities. It has a large yard that connects to a small beach and river access. It is in a quiet area that is still within easy reach of the city. The owner communicates well and is thoughtful. Needs were anticipated and addressed before we had even arrived. The family had a great time. We would certainly stay again.

The yard is wonderful and so spacious for all activities you could want to do outside. The house is a bit smaller than anticipated, but with enough air mattresses we all slept comfortably. The air conditioning had a hard time keeping up, but it was very hot and humid outside, and there were 10 of us in the kitchen/living room area, so it's somewhat expected. Keith was great and communicates well. While I wouldn't take a large group of all men to this home again, I would use it for families or couples trips. It's a great house in a great, quiet location.

Beautiful unique property!

We very much enjoyed our stay- even caught a catfish in the backyard! My only issue is that it is a 3 bedroom- not 4 like the add says. It also says there is a queen sized bed in the entertainment room and there isn’t. The kids slept on couches and it was fine, but the add should be corrected. That said, it’s a wonderfully unique house in a fantastic location!

Location is great

Right on the Grand River, this rental had excellent outdoor activities. The house is lived in so there is little separation between the owner’s belongings and rental space. This was challenging at times trying to keep kids out of the owners goods. Two suggestions- lower the island bar stools as they are too tight to fit legs under the new island. (Great island btw). The second suggestion is for new mattresses in the lower bedrooms. One has a big sag in the middle and the other is lumpy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the great location.

Not ready for prime time.

Had several home diy projects in process, left a feeling of not ready for guests. House obviously has a pet, dog hair throughout house. House was well equipped and is a very home, on the water. Just needs a deep clean and to complete projects.

The house is out dated/needs to be painted and outside was dirty. We could never get the key pad to work so had to use the hidden key to access the house. When we arrived it was 77 degrees in the house and took a long time to cool down. The second day we had our daughter’s wedding and spent the day in 90 degree heat. When we left I turned AC to 70. We returned to it set at 77 with the upstairs over 80 degrees. The listing says it sleeps 12 but in reality it only sleeps 8 comfortably. I do not recommend staying here. Way over priced. The plus on the house was the master bathroom, blackstone grill, large bar table and large TV.

I'm active duty in the Michigan National Guard. I travel a lot for the Army and bought this house from a previous AIRBB owner. I've used AIRBB (4.9 rating and over 25 rentals) for the last 12 months but decided to bring the property to VRBO. The house is set up for entertaining large groups and families.

Why they chose this property

This is the only property in Lansing that can host large groups, has riverfront with a private beach, and full outdoor amenities. The open concept is great for socializing. You are 5 minutes from Downtown Lansing and 7 Minutes from East Lansing. It has recently been renovated within the last year to add a master bathroom that will wow anyone.
