About this property

The Lodge at NewMor River Preserve, your rustic, rural lake retreat! 2 bedrooms, spacious loft, 2 bathrooms, outdoor grill, deluxe kitchen-fully equipped/supplied.
Life is great on the lake! Our country lake lodge getaway is located on Lake Harding and Chattahoochee River in Lee County, Al. Surrounded by beautiful woods & the sounds of nature and the occasional rooster crow with 2000 feet waterfront, this family - friendly atmosphere allows you to enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.
Upstairs area: Large loft- 850 square feet with 8 foot ceiling, 1 queen bed, 3 bunk beds, 2 sitting areas, LCD Smart TV, & private bath with walk in shower and double sink vanity (2 rolls of TP provided)
Downstairs area: Great Room- Features open concept to dining room, 10’ natural wood dining table, comfy leather couch (can be used for sleeping), rustic antler lamp with USB ports, board and other games in wall cabinet, LCD Smart TV
Kitchen - New appliances, long countertop for serving & barstools (1 roll of paper towel, 2 trash bags, and 1 individual single use dishwasher detergent provided)
2 Bedrooms- Each room has a queen bed, ceiling fans, LCD TVs
Bathroom: Walk in shower, linen closet, double sink vanity (2 rolls of TP provided)
Laundry - Full size Washer/Dryer, iron/ board (Individual single use of detergent provided)
Outdoor – Covered patio, picnic table, outdoor shower, & grill

* Boats and wave runners permitted. There are no boat rentals on Lake Harding.

Great stay and lodge was as expected!

Check-in and out process was smoothe and simple. The owner had great communication and allowed us to host our daughter first birthday party here. Neighborhood is quiet and lodge was very clean!

Perfect for gatherings!

This was our 2nd year of celebrating Christmas at the lodge, which was beautiful decorated for the holidays. Our family of 10 had plenty of room and the grandkids really enjoy the loft area. The owners take pride in their well maintained facility … it’s clean, comfortable, and well equipped. They have a nice outdoor area, fire pit, and just a short walk to the lake.

The ‘New’ part of NewMor comes from Newton. You see, Richard Newton married Carrie Morris, the ‘Mor’ part of NewMor. Newton has a child and Morris has two. A blended family, we became.
