Set in a beautifully peaceful location in the heart of the Dordogne countryside, this converted old stone house is ideal for those looking for a place to relax and unwind. The open-beamed living space is airy and wonderfully cool on warm summer days. The owners live in a neighbouring house.
10 minutes away by car is the lake at Chasteaux with a beach for swimming and fishing. The village of Terrasson offers shops and restaurants. The Jardins de lImaginaire park is also worth a visit. Other excursion destinations worth seeing: The Lascaux caves, the old towns of Sarlat and Les Eyzies, including the lively town of Brive, are a must-see.
