The property was beautiful and right on the water and my family and I had a wonderful time and visiting. We spent time on the water and playing games and it was perfect.
The Glass Porch cottage is a very comfortable place to stay. Plus it was the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. It had everything we needed and was very easy to get to. The host is very friendly and provided very tasty welcoming gifts that were greatly enjoyed! We would definitely stay here again.

We appreciate our guests and always try to give them a little something special at our Glass Porch Cottage.
Plenty of beds to sleep our large family (cousins and families) that traveled for a family reunion. Full functioning kitchen was great to have and served us well.

Our Glass Porch Cottage is always a favorite for family gatherings and reunions. There is plenty of room, firepit and fishing is a bonus.
We travelled from Ireland to meet family for a weeks' holiday. The house was wonderful and the younger folks enjoyed the basement and paddleboat. The senior folks enjoyed the glass enclosed porch. The kitchen was well stocked and large. It was minutes from Indiana Beach, the Madame Carrol, Monticello and Delphi.

Great Stay at the Glass Porch Cottage on Lake Freeman
Our family had a nice weekend in the Glass Porch Cottage on Lake Freeman. The home is lovely and was well equipped. We particularly loved the glass lanai with the wicker furniture. It gave us the "Golden Girls" vibes. The neighborhood was very quiet and we thoroughly recommend this VRBO property.
The cottage was very clean and Karen had provided everything we needed for our stay. We brought inflatable kayaks and found the dock worked well for launching them. We also enjoyed using the paddle boat. The sunroom is magnificent for relaxing. Our family spent quality downtime in the lower level playing games and watching movies. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for.

Thanks for choosing our cottage. Glad you enjoyed our home and perks. So happy you were able to relax and have fun. Excellent guests.....would love to host your family anytime
We relocated to the area and stayed at the Cottage for 5 weeks while we looked/closed on our new home. This house worked out so well for us. We primarily used the upstairs, as that was all we really needed. We have small children, so we used the Dutch door to the lower level as a “baby gate”. The “sun room” with all the windows made for a beautiful place to have your coffee in the morning. We were very thankful to have found this place. we’ll be back in the summer to us to take in the lake life!

We absolutely loved having you as our guests. You are welcome back anytime.
The house was great! It was on a small canal that lead to the river. The kids fished and swam. The paddleboat provided was so much fun! The house has 2 levels. The kids watched VCR movies downstairs while the adults hung out upstairs. There was a great selection of family friendly movies. The Jukebox was also a big hit. We built fires in the evening and enjoyed the great outdoor area. It was very close to Whyte Horse winery where they have amazing wine slushies. I would highly recommend staying here. Karen and Wayne were great hosts!!

We enjoyed hosting your family. You are welcome back anytime to enjoy our VCR movies, paddle boat, fishing, swimming, fire pit, etc.
Thanks

The house is very nice, spacious, and kitchen was well-equipped for families that want to enjoy cooking together! The host, Karen, was very accommodating and made us feel "at home"! There was a bit of an odor which may have been from cigarette smoke, but property is clearly marked "non-smoking". I can only hope that guests would respect the owners rules. We would certainly stay there again:)
The home was cute, quiet, clean and convenient. We really enjoyed our “girls weekend.” There are so many great “hang out” spots- the sun room, outdoor by river, etc. The only issue is that the home smells like stale cigarette smoke. It’s clear that it’s well cared for and no one smokes there now, but the smell lingers from the past.
Fun tip for future summer guests- check out Mrs. Black’s homemade fudge! Follow the signs down to Circle Drive and you will find her patio fudge sale! Also, if you can you should rent a golf cart when staying here.
Karen made everything easy and it made the trip so much better. We brought up a boat from Bloomington, and she allowed us to dock early so that we didn't waste the day waiting for check in. The home is nice, and the retro basement - complete with jukebox, big screen and VHS collection! Watching classics with the kids was awesome. Nearby were the Sportsman's Grill (ate 3x, AWESOME!) and after a tense trip under the bridge found the Lake Freeman sandbar! Not to be left out, Indiana Beach! We were able to get there 3 times in 3 days and had a blast!!
All said, the price was great, the available dock for the boat was fantastic and a host that accommodated all along the way completed the show for us.
Big thanks to Karen, thank you thank you thank you!!!!
