It’s NEVER TO EARLY to book a place for your REUNION, RETREAT, or GROUP activities. We invite you to The Gathering Place as it easily accommodates 35 in beds, and can host campers and tents as well. Gather your close friends or family to enjoy this beautiful home and property. The Lemhi River runs along the property giving full frontage access for fishing, tubing, or playing in the water. Sit on the deck in the evening watching the wildlife or relax in the hot tub gazing up at the stars. The home is fully remodeled and guests enjoy the open space from kitchen to family room. The two bunkhouses and bathhouse with 3 full bathrooms adds to the comfort of many people to stay. The garage contains a pool table, ping pong table, and other outdoor games, as well as an extra fridge, banquet tables, and chairs.

Manning Gathering

We loved our stay at the Gathering Place! Ages 10 day old to a young 64 had a great time enjoying the amenities including children’s toys to hot tub and pool table/pong pong/video shooting game. The cookers in our group really appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. The bunkhouses and bath houses were so clever and clean. When the fam was polled, “ Do this again” a resounding yes from all. We had a wonderfull stay. And Salmon is a hidden gem of Idaho. Thanks Tracey!

Awesome for our family reunion

This was the perfect place for our family reunion of 26 people. We had grandma and grandpa, 6 couples and a bachelor, and 11 grandkids. The main house had enough common space for us all to congregate there. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open so we could interact wherever we were sitting. The ping pong table, pool table and kayaks were great. The creek behind the house was perfect for the older kids to play in. The hot tub was perfect at the end of the day. There is a box of cushions for the outdoor chairs that also has some more outdoor games. I wish I'd noticed those yard games before our final night. Owner was quick to reply to my text. This really was perfect. We would stay here again. A couple of things to note: There are no lifejackets. We went into town and rented some from a rafting company. The water behind the house wasn't deep enough for the kayaks when we were there (July 2023). You can take them to a few spots on the Salmon River where it runs through town, but the water was too rough for our group. We went up to Lake Williams for several hours. You will need to have your own way to transport them. We had three on car racks and the other three in an SUV. In town: Nothing is open on Sunday and everything closes down at 9pm on the other nights, so shop accordingly.

Wonderful Family Reunion

This property was amazingly supplied and stocked. We have stayed at several properties for our family reunions and none have been as well stocked as this one. From the kitchen to the bathroom, it had everything we could possibly need. Plus, Tracy had host gifts, such as a delicious apple pie welcoming us. The kids enjoyed the game room in the garage, slept in the bunk house, and played in the yard. It was a wonderful place!

We have raised 4 sons and like spending time together in adventurous outdoor activities. Our family is growing now with daughters and grandchildren. My desire to continue making memories is increasing, and we need places to stay that will accommodate us all.
We found our first property that fits perfectly for our growing family. It is a GREAT place to host large groups.
We have enjoyed this place so much we wanted to share it with others and create memories for themselves.
This excitement to share has led us to other properties to offer to you, family, and friends. Each home we offer is different, but the purpose is the same…to make lasting memories and spend quality time together in one location.

Why they chose this property

You will find that the "Gathering Place" is located just off of highway 28, making it an easy access into the town Salmon or adventure in other activities.

The "Gathering Place" is a 6 mile drive to Salmon.

Salmon has a grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, bars, coffee shops along with the historic Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural & Educational Center, and the Lewis and Clark trail.
Check out the many outdoor activities in Salmon, like Salmon River rafting, steelhead fishing, hunting, hikes, bike trails both pedal and motor.

The Gathering Place is a 4 mile drive to Baker Country Market, an Amish community and market place. This is a a great place to visit and purchase homemade groceries.

You can leave from our property on your motorcycles and ATV's to ride the mountain trails, or pedal your bikes into Salmon for a leisure day shopping and touring.
