About this property
York Street Gem - A Taste of 1800s Savannah
Summary: This gorgeous historic gem from the early 1800's sits on York Street in the heart of downtown. We are within walking distance to all that Savannah has to offer, including River Street, City Market, The Pirate's House, Leopold's Ice Cream, The Olde Pink House and SO much more! Though we are close to everything, the house is situated on a quiet block right near Greene Square and is perfect for those light sleepers like us :) If you're looking to step back in time and have a true Savannah experience in a house with obvious original features, look no further!!
The Space: Yes, this home is from the 1800's and it shows! With its huge trim, tall, dramatic ceilings and gorgeous heart of pine floors, the place is dripping with character and charm. We offer 3 king beds, 2 full baths and a half bath with a washer/dryer. We have a Zen-filled, private courtyard wrapped in bamboo and sunshine that is perfect for those "warm" Savannah evenings! Being an original old townhome, it is 3 stories. The master bedroom that offers a huge jacuzzi tub and separate shower sits on the second floor. Upstairs from that are the two other bedrooms with a shared bath at the end of the hall. **We have free WiFi and Cable TV with ESPN Package**
Guest Access: We allow up to 2 (two) dogs MAX. No cats. The pet fee is $100 per dog, must be paid before check-in. The entire home is yours! We offer 2 free parking spots in the back along the gate (only 2 cars and must park one in front of the other). The courtyard is totally private, we just ask that you keep the late-night partying inside after 11 :)
The Neighborhood: We are in the heart of the Historic District where everything is walkable. It is a fairly quiet, residential area with plenty of full time residents living throughout. The nights are so slow and quiet that hearing the horse-drawn carriages are louder than people/cars! We are a stone's throw away from Greene Square and some of Savannah's most famous restaurant's and shops. The list goes on and on but some of our favorites include 17Hundred90, The Olde Pink House, Screamin Mimi's, Hitch, J. Christopher's, Leopold's Ice Cream, Fox & Fig Cafe which are just blocks from the house!
Getting Around: Aside from being able to walk everywhere, we recommend using Uber/Lyft as you can quickly get from A to B at a great price. Just in case you find yourselves stumbling a little bit from having such an awesome time :)
Other Things to Note: We are available to guests via mobile Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm. We don't live far so if you should need anything or have any issues, just let us know. If you have any emergencies call 911. We allow up to 2 (two) dogs MAX. No cats. The pet fee is $100 per dog, must be paid before check-in.

The house was perfect! The beds were so comfortable and we really enjoyed relaxing by the gas fireplace at the end of each night. The location was fantastic for walking around town. Thanks for a great time!
We had an amazing stay! The hosts were incredibly accessible and always responded quickly whenever we had a question. The home was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with so many extras like shampoo, conditioner, fans, detergent, an extra blanket, coffee, filters, and more — which made everything so convenient. The location truly couldn’t be beat. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-hosted place to stay!
The management company was very responsive to our questions. The house was charming but one bathroom had a leaky faucet. And during a rainstorm one bathroom and the 1/2 bath had significant window leaks. Dining room chairs were needed to have their hardware tightened, some support rungs were missing. The kitchen only had 3 plastic wine glasses.
Place was amazing and super close to everything. Very comfy beds and the outside patio area was perfect. Very neat and clean and had pretty much all of the kitchen and bathroom essentials
Girls trip 2025 was awesome! Thank you Chase and Brandon for your awesome place. It was exactly what we were looking for, for our girls trip. Super location, all the amenities could not have asked or had anything better! When they say location location location it is so true! Great value in an awesome little city. We walked to everything. We came in from Florida parked the car and there it sat for the 5 days we were there. Just perfect. Updated and super convenient.
A lovely historic home well kept and perfectly situated.
They thought of everything! Extra pillows, linens, fans! A/C units in every room keeping you cool in hot summer nights! Loved the location as it was convenient to shops, riverwalk, restaurants, parks and more! Quiet nights with daytime tours passing by. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows! Jet tub felt great after a day on your feet.
Awesome historic place within easy walking to lots of points of interest.
I stayed here for 5 nightsbwith friends on a cross country trip. We loved the place and found the owners fast to respond to any questions. It is within easy walking to the historic areas of Savannah. I would recommend this place to anyone.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Savannah.
The house was in the perfect location. We parked in the assigned parking spots and walked everywhere.
The house was clean, comfortable and convenient..
We would highly recommend this property.
We had a wonderful 4-day stay in this lovely historic home. We could walk to all the sites and restaurants that we wanted to go to which made life super easy. The clip clop of horse carriages going by really made us feel like we were immersed in another world.
It was a great place- plenty of bathrooms and king beds to comfortably accommodate a group of 6 women. Had everything we needed and in a great location! The property manager was helpful and prompt with responses and solutions.
Our family felt so at home with the beautifully maintained property in the heart of Savannah. The layout of the house and the provided finishings were spot on for what anyone could need. The home was clean and full of southern charm! We can’t wait to return.
We all enjoyed our stay and the location was fantastic. The three flights of stairs were a bit challenging as we are all a bit older in age. The kitchen area is nice but small and hot when cooking do the lack of ventilation, we used fans, provided to make it work. The Master suite is lovely and on the second floor and the bathroom is outstanding in size and comfort. A shower mat needs to be installed as the tile is very slippery when wet but we just used one of the towels provided and it was fine. The hosts are lovely people and their style is very true to the period of the property. A well kept, clean and cozy accommodations overall.
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah! It is well positioned near the waterfront and within easy walking distance of many of the cities points of interest.
The rental property is well stocked with amenities and is comfortably furnished. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The owners were quick to respond to any inquiries and/or requests and we're very helpful!
Would definitely rent this property again on future visits!
Very nice house located in the historic district, convenient to everything. You will get lots of steps in with three stories and no bathroom on the first floor. Hosts brought us a Valentines gift when we arrived. Very nice personal attention.
Loved the location of this house. Everything about this house was so cute minus the stairs. LOL. They are very steep. Just be extra careful coming down them.
Property was in the heart of everything and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping and tours. Older home in very nice condition. Upper 3rd floor was warm for sleeping. Need to get better air conditioning units for those bedrooms. The rest of the place (1st & 2nd floor) was very cool and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for convenience.
This location had alot of potential but needs serious attention. Smelled musty as soon as we walked in. Mildew on the ceilings in the 2nd floor bedroom and the 3rd floor bedrooms and bathroom. It rained lightly and we had two leaks on the 3rd floor. Outside patio needs trimming.
