Enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving! House is great- well maintained and plenty of room for our group of 8. Beautiful views of the mountains and located in a peaceful area. Saw lots of deer! Gas fireplaces on the main and bottom floor did not function for us, but we used the wood burning fireplace and the fire pit outside which was more than enough. Would stay again!
If you’re looking to get away and be remote this is the best place with amazing views from the huge back yard. Only issue we had was connecting our devices to the WiFi. We would connect but there would not be any connection it the internet worked fine on the TVs. But, we were trying to stay off our phones so it wasn’t an issue with us. We had good cell service regardless.
This property is definitely a hidden gem. Gorgeous sunrises that you can admire right from the upstairs master bedroom bed! We had a hiccup when we first got there, but the owners were proactive in letting us know and stayed in touch until issue resolved. (Mother nature related - totally unforeseen) We got to enjoy falling snow our first night! Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, plates/cups, utensils. *could use a knife sharpener with gadgets, but we made do. House layout was perfect for our family- we could cuddle up for a movie or go to the couch by the fireplace to get some quiet time. Downstairs bunks were a hit, but pretty cold at night. This was totally our fault in missing the fact that this property was pet friendly. Downstairs did smell like wet dog...which was a bummer. If I didn't figure out we were allergic to something here (likely pets), I would come back. The property outside is great for a nice pretty easy trek down to a path by a creek you can follow to the main road. It was a great warm up for the cold weather. SO many deer around! I loved being greeted by them! Overall it was great stay and no 4 wheel drive needed to reach cabin. Mostly paved except last little part of ride up. Close to food, grocery, cafes, coffee shops. Really a great place for families including your 4 legged friends!
Property was nicely stocked and in a relatively secluded area. There was lots to do, but no ping pong as shown. Deck was great to relax on. There are three levels, two porch swings, tons of rocking chairs. The only issue was the many yellow jackets harassing us. Also, listing did not mention any surveillance cameras, but there were multiple
This cabin was one of my favorites. We have rented several in the area but this was my fave. It’s absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. My only recommendations would be to allow the air to be turned below 68 degrees. In the basement area there was water standing in the pan of the AC unit which may need to be checked. The towels and wash clothes had a musty/urine smell so we went and bought detergent and fabric softener and washed them all which helped. The chairs outside are very unstable and dangerous. They are stripped and coming apart so be careful with these wooden chairs. We will definitely be renting the house again. It was gorgeous and the best stay!!
