Welcome to your escape to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Perched high on the side of a private mountain, you are surrounded by incredible mountain views and breathtaking views of the valley below. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the large decks as you take in the crisp mountain air and the soothing sounds of the Hemptown Creek rustling below. Every room and terrace offers views to enjoy! Our custom log cabin home is situated on densely wooded acreage and is very private.

Located just minutes away, historic Blue Ridge, GA offers many great restaurants and shops. Enjoy Lake Blue Ridge offering boating, fishing and skiing. Hop on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway for a memorable excursion through the mountains. Championship golf is less than 10 minutes away. If you enjoy the action of casinos, Harrah's Casino is just 30 minutes away in Murphy, NC.
Whether you seek the quiet solitude of the mountains or the excitement of all the outdoor activities nearby, we are sure you will have an unforgettable stay at our mountainside home.

The Owl's Nest Lodge is located on a private mountain with Hempton Creek running below. You can enjoy the hiking, fishing and just relaxing.
You will have use of the entire property and it's amenities. There is a main house that has kitchen, dining, family room and 3 bedrooms. The guest house comes equipped with game room, pool table, sleeper sofa, bedroom and full bathroom. The cabin is very private which makes it the perfect retreat to unwind and spend time with friends and family. No other homes are visible from the cabin.

The cabin is easily accessible by car and there is space for 4 vehicles.

Pets are welcome with a pre-approval and a $60 pet fee per pet. Maximum weight per pet is 60 lbs.

This cabin is beautiful and spacious. Great views. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired and the host took a while to respond and did nothing to make amends for the dirt and mess. They are looking to sell so hopefully the next owner is more attentive.

Owls nest

Had a great time with family. We have our overall family Christmas early so our individual family’s can spend an intimate Christmas together. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Great view from the deck at sunset. Loved it.

Family Thanksgiving

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We had a party of 10 adults and it was nice having the two cabins together. The game room was nice. It definitely helped to separate 10 adults and not filled crowded. The porch was also nice to enjoy conversation with your morning coffee and your adult beverages in the evening

Why they chose this property

We choose this property for it's magnificent views and privacy and we are just a 15 minute drive from the town of Blue Ridge and all it has to offer.

What makes this property unique

The Owl's Nest has 2 cabins which gives our family plenty of space to enjoy the views and the great outdoors but still have the comforts of home. We enjoy the town of Blue Ridge and all of the activities of the North Georgia mtns from white water rafting to apple picking to antiquing. There is so much to do. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
