Bait and switch!
Not sure if this is a normal practice, but I thought it was a little weird...on the way down to the rental (hours before) we were notified by the property manager that the address has changed to a different property. All of my paperwork and confirmations listed the same building and unit since confirmation. Day of check in, I am told we will be in a different bldg and unit. With 6 people coming in town I felt there wasn't much choice in the matter. When questioned about it, manager says, they are all the same units...This was not true...furniture was different, beds were of lower quality. The original unit was right on the street, the new one was 100 feet off the road, requiring us to lug everything into the unit. Unit was not kept up, had to complain about lights flickering, wobbling ceiling fan, broken utensils and exhaust fan not working in the master bath. He did send his sister out to try and correct some issues, but the fact is, it was not the unit I booked! Some but not all of the onsite security was lazy and rude...they act like it's burdensome to check your pass for entry, which is THEIR procedure. It takes them so long that traffic can build up 10 deep, backing you into the main road. There are so many signs around the pools, it was ridiculous. Wish I could post pictures!
