The surrounding area offers wonderful walks and a day trip to Hellandsknuten is highly recommended. The popular hiking destination Himakåna in Nedstrand, also called little Trolltunga, is only half an hour away by car/ferry. At the same time, you can visit the climbing park in Nedstrand, which is fun for the whole family.

Experience the wonderful nature of Western Norway with high mountains and long fjords along the Ryfylke National Tourist Route. From the holiday apartment, you can visit Sand with its salmon studio, the Ryfylke Museum and a bathing hall, as well as Sauda with its swimming pool, golf course and good selection of shops. You can also take day trips to the cities of Haugesund and Stavanger with several sights. We also recommend a trip to the fantastic Lysefjorden with a hike to Preikestolen.
