Linger on the large terrace with a drink in the evening sun or prepare a meal in the outdoor kitchen. Relax in the deckchairs by the water, listen to the waves and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. In the evening, the fire pit offers a cosy meeting place with a view of the fjord.



Hike on well-marked trails, for example on Dronningstien or at the starting point to Trolltunga. Go on excursions to the Folgefonna glacier, Hardangervidda or Vøringsfossen. Visit the Hardanger Folkemuseum or enjoy dinner at the historic Utne Hotel. In spring you can enjoy the fruit blossom, in summer the clear fjord water, in autumn the romance of storms and in winter the clear air and nearby ski resorts such as Røldal or Myrkdalen.
