It was amazing to wake up in the peace and quiet of the pond. Our dog loved chasing sticks and ducks! The cottage was the perfect size for the three of us and so clean and charming.

Great Getaway!

Second stay at this great spot! Driving down the long driveway you really feel like you’re separating from the “real world,” though there is so much to do close by. Check-in is easy and there’s great communication with the hosts. The items that are in the house at check-in (snacks, water, ice, and dog gifts) are much appreciated! House is clean & comfortable and the water is clear. I’m a single female traveler and feel 110% safe here.

Absolutely beautiful!

A beautiful little cottage right next to a breath taking pond with all accommodations! It was quiet, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Hubby, caught a 19-20” largemouth bass. It was fun! We are looking forward for next year. Thank you Bob and Vicky for a lovely stay.

Old fashion charm with modern conveniences

This cottage was perfect for me. I visited with family in the area and had a lovely little bungalow to return to at the end of the day. The internet was strong, and it was nice to turn on the dehumidifier on a couple of humid afternoons to dry the air. Vicky and Bobby were really kind and welcoming hosts. I look forward to returning.

Nothing makes me happier than being on the water and taking in the beautiful views. After spending 12 years on Cape Cod I moved to Wareham and now love White Island Pond. It's an amazing fresh water pond where I can paddle board, kayak, swim and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. I work at the International Fund for Animal Welfare to protect animals and their habitats around the world.

Why they chose this property

The cottage on White Island Pond has amazing views and puts you directly on the Pond including a small private beach. We provide kayaks and floats so you can relax and take in your beautiful surroundings. The cottage has been nicely updated and is very private yet is only minutes to major shopping and highways. Across the street are miles of trails to walk your dog if they are lucky enough to come with you.

We live on the property set among six acres. The cottage was built back in the 70s to take advantage of the incredible waterfront and provides the utmost privacy. While in the cottage, on your private beach, deck, or lawn, you will only see the people out on their boats or jet skis enjoying the water.

What makes this property unique

The cottage on White Island Pond is unique in that you don't have to battle Cape Cod traffic but will get the beautiful rest and relaxation of being on the water at a very affordable price. You couldn't be closer to the water in this cottage, and the Pond is crystal clear, allowing you to see the sand on the bottom and maybe even a fish or two swim by. Historic Plymouth is within a 20 minute drive and you can reach the Cape Cod bridges within 15 minutes.
