There are good cycling trails by the house. The hiking trail Banvallsleden passes by Torne, it leads to Hulevik and further to Åshult and Karlshamn. Sirkön is also worth a trip, there you can expect a fish smokehouse and many varieties of apples. In Kurrebot is celebrated Midsummer, you can dance in the Kärrasand. Urshult has a good lunch restaurant, Ladan. In Tingsryd we recommend the Mårdslycke Krog. The area around lake Åsnen is planned as a national park.
