First, residents of the 11th arrondissement benefit from an exceptional cultural offer. By visiting the historic squares of Bastille, Nation and République, you can immerse yourself in the revolutionary history of the district. Indeed, the 11th arrondissement played a decisive role during the great workers' revolts of the 19th century. Don't miss the so-called tomb of Louis XVII in the Sainte-Marguerite Church, which has kept a lot of mystery, as well as the Edith Piaf museum and, if you like urban culture, the MUR.
Formerly a working-class district, the 11th arrondissement is now one of the capital's most "trendy" districts, especially on the Place de la Bastille side, with many bars with different atmospheres. The district is also affluent in theatres and concert halls, such as the Bataclan, the Bastille Theatre and the Balajo. You can also enjoy yourself at the Cirque d'Hiver and the Bastille Opera.
Moreover, it is the most festive district of Paris, thanks to its many bars and restaurants, full of life and madness on the Bastille side, more chic towards Oberkampf. But you can also enjoy the peace of the hidden cities, including the Cité du Figuier and the Cité Durmar, or stroll along the Canal Saint-Martin.
The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.
The nearest train station, Voltaire, is just a 2-minute walk.
Paris Orly Airport is about a 35-minute drive from the property.
