We stayed at Maison Pietralba with pool from July 9th to 15th 2025, and overall had a pleasant stay. The house itself is nicely decorated and fully equipped — comfy beds, a good shower, a spacious layout, and really everything you need for a comfortable holiday.Communication with the host was excellent — super friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and the whole experience very smooth.Location-wise, it’s well placed if you want to explore both the mountains in central Corsica and the beaches on the coast — both are about a 45-minute drive, so it’s a great base for day trips in either direction.That said, we did feel the price was a bit too high for what you get. While the house is definitely nice, the pool is quite small and stayed pretty cold, so swimming in the evening wasn’t really an option. Some pool lighting at night could also add a bit more atmosphere.One thing to be aware of: the house is located about 200 meters from a fairly busy road, and the traffic noise is quite noticeable — especially in the early morning and evening, when most people are heading to or returning from the coast.All in all, it’s a comfortable and well-equipped house with a friendly host and a good central location — just keep in mind the road noise and that the pool might not be ideal for late dips.
