First it was the fishermen and then the wealthy whaler captains, whose pretty and lovingly restored thatched houses are still admired by visitors to the island today. Thanks to the unique nature and the enormous expanses of this island with the widest and finest sandy beaches in Europe, you can still find a quiet place all to yourself.

Wir kommen wieder

Wir waren schon einmal auf Rømø, haben und daher bewusst für diese Insel entschieden. Das Haus topt in unseren Augen alles. Diese Aussicht, die Ruhe, die Abgeschiedenheit sind in Geld nicht aufzuwiegen. Unsere Kinder: 7,11 und 15 haben sich ebenso wohl gefühlt. Die dänische Gelassenheit gepaart mit einem Auge für schlichte Eleganz überrascht uns immer wieder. Der Grundriss des Hauses ist einfach wie genial und bietet Platz für alle. Liebevoll bis ins Detail. Ich hoffe alle die nach uns kommen, wissen dies zu schätzen. Wir danken den Eigentümern für diese wundervolle Familienzeit.
