Amazing Getaway

Beautiful views of both the sunrise and the sunset (in December) from the back porch. Very peaceful. Very well outfitted kitchen. Thoughtful and fun Texas decor. We had a great time!

Be prepared to be AMAZED

The description of this property is spot on except it exceeded our expectations. Large room sizes, furnished as one would want for hill country and incredible views. Very private. So glad we chose this house in Boerne.

A peace of heaven

This property was as beautiful as the pictures . The house was huge and had plenty of room . Very clean. The back porch was my favorite place to drink coffee. We were 20 min from town. We even saw deer .

Absolutely gorgeous

I must say this has been one of the most exceptional places I have stayed in quite some time . The house was beautiful and offered ample space for our family who accompanied us . On one of the days, it happened to rain, and enjoying coffee on the back porch was truly delightful . We had an event to attend , so this location was extremely convenient . The only concern I encountered during our stay was the presence of cobwebs, and while sweeping a couple times, I noticed a significant amount of dog hair. I would definitely consider staying here again for a getaway or when visiting family again .

Had a great stay. Saw a few deer in the backyard which was really cool

House was pretty clean. Sectional in large living area needs to be cleaned because it smells like animals. I was a little concerned when I got to the property because the key was left in the front door instead of in the locked pad and the door was unlocked. Everything else was great.

Great House

Perfect for hanging out with friends and enjoying the peace and tranquility. Everything we needed was available. With the exception of the air conditioner not being able to keep up with the heat. Got to 78 to 80° every day in the house. But it usually was back to sleep temperature by midnight. Sitting out on the back porch just looking out over the scenery was very very peaceful and tranquil. You will enjoy this house.

Hi Curtis - thank you for the review and we're happy that you enjoyed the home. To clear up the AC comments; you contacted us about the AC issue the second night after you arrived, so we were not aware there was a problem the first night. We sent someone out the following morning at 9:30 AM who changed a setting on the Nest unit. It was set at "cool heat" and not "cool". We monitored the temp for the following two days and it was working fine. I want to make sure future guests know that there's not a problem with the AC, it works fine and cools the house, as intended. Thank you for using Backroads Reservations

Wedding weekend

Rented the house for the weekend to attend a wedding in Boerne. The house was amazing. The views are beautiful. If you like sitting on the porch and drinking coffee, this is the house for you. Boerne is about a 20 minute drive from the house. Visit “Cave Without A Name” while you are there. It’s a 1.5 miles from the house and it’s only a 1 hour cave tour but definitely worth it.

Loved this house!

The house had a perfect layout with two living areas and at least queen beds in all bedrooms. It was clean and well appointed. The view was awesome. Good proximity to many area attractions. Would definitely stay again and recommend it!
