The apartment is located on the second floor and includes: • 2 bedrooms, each featuring comfortable queen-size beds and high quality linens. • An open living space (kitchen, living room, work space) with an incredible view on the Covered Market, an exceptional structure built between 1881 and 1889 housing a gourmet food hall. • An open kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, integrated fridge and freezer, coffee machine etc. • A lounge area, equipped with a new “smart TV,” connected to high-speed optical fiber (Netflix etc). • High speed fiber optic internet throughout the apartment. • Two WCs and one bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). • Household linens are provided (bed linen, towels) • Coffee, tea, infusions, oil and other condiments • Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board During your stay you will have sole, private access to the entire apartment. The apartment is accessible via a key box; we will provide you with the code at the time of booking. Arrival is generally from 4:00 p.m. Earlier access may be possible depending on the departure date and time of the previous tenants. If you require earlier access, please send us a message, and we will check our booking calendar to let you know the possibilities. The rental includes a concierge service 2 minutes walk from the apartment where you can drop off your luggage, if needed, during their opening hours. The historic center of the city has incredible architecture from several eras: from medieval buildings to Haussmann structures, it is a pleasure to walk through the cobblestone streets and admire the beautiful facades. Le Puy is also known for its artistic community: artisan shops are spread throughout the town, and there is even a “Rue des Artisans” 2 minutes from the apartment, on the way to the cathedral. There are many excellent restaurants within minutes of the apartment, including the Covered Market which has recently been completely renovated into a gourmet food hall and often hosts music events. The Saturday market begins at the foot of the building with excellent quality producers from all over the region; it is a great opportunity to taste local products. There are grocery stores and pharmacies within walking distance of the apartment. There are several inexpensive parking options within a 5-10 minute walk of the apartment. Le Puy-en-Velay is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its beauty, and one of the historic starting points for hiking the Camino de Santiago.
