During a walk to the harbor you can have a look at the fishing boats or watch the Sylt ferry coming and going. For centuries, Rømø has captivated people. First it was the fishermen and then the wealthy whaler captains, whose pretty and lovingly restored thatched houses are still admired by visitors to the island. Thanks to the unique nature and vast expanses of this island with the widest and finest sandy beaches in Europe, you can still find a quiet spot all to yourself.
