About Michele Pavillard
I moved to the area in1987 after growing up in the inner city. I fell in love with the quiet and beauty of Seneca Lake. The tranquility revives me within minutes of being on the lake. I don't get to the Lake as often as I would like but it gives me great pleasure to share the experience with others.
Michele Pavillard purchased this Cottage in 1994

Memorial Day Weekend Hideout
Private and quiet cabin with great waterfront. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and our stay was exactly what we needed! We will be adding this property to our our favorites and look forward to staying there again!
It was a pleasure to have you and your wonderful family stay at the cottage!
The rental property was exactly what the VRBO listing stated it would be. This was perfect for our group of 3 couples and 1 single, totaling 7 adults. The views were amazing, and we had the shoreline to ourselves. We ventured to both the Gorge and the Finger Lakes National Forest, very easily from the location. It was a bit confusing following GPS, as it took us down a different road, but once we found it, it was no problem at all. Maureen was VERY helpful with finding the proper road to take as well as filling us in on the things we needed to know about the cabin.
Our first time to the Finger Lakes. Michelle checked on us to make sure all was well. We enjoyed the view of lake especially at sunrise.
Loved the cottage and location. Bring your all wheel drive vehicle.
The location is desolate enough for us, but still convenient to Watkins Glen. I’m glad we brought the Jeep and not the MINI. Overall, we had a very good experience with the rental process and our stay.
Gorgeous setting on the cliff
We had a great family week at the rustic cottage. The decks and view over the lake make this a wonderful place to play games, read, share a glass of wine or a meal, and just relax. Space is limited inside but the simple rooms are fine and we had everything we needed. Take the steps down to the beach into account, but the lakefront is broad, private, and very nice. Though it's shared with residents of the B&B higher up, we had it to ourselves most of the time. The kayaks, canoes, and water drew us every day. Location in general is close to wineries, Watkins Glen, and anything needed. We had no problems with the hill getting down to the cottage. Loved being here and would gladly return!
100+ wineries, on the Seneca Wine Trail. Amish Market, The Windmill and The Animal Sanctuary, hiking through state parks with beautiful waterfalls. Near Geneva, Corning and Ithaca. Great fishing!
