In the surrounding area are wide nature areas where you can relax and be active. For example, on Kroppefjäll, the southernmost nature reserve in Sweden. Hikers of all ages will find trails to suit them, and in winter there are cross-country ski trails, some of which are even floodlit. The nearby Amål Ski Center has 4 lifts, snow cannons and floodlights.



If golf is the top priority on your vacation, you have the 18-hole Mellerud course nearby. Very popular is also the beach Vita Sannar at the Vänern. Here you can rent rowboats, canoes, bikes and even play mini golf. Popular is also the aqueduct in Håverud. Built towards the end of the 19th century, it is a beautiful unit of bridge, railroad bridge and aqueduct.



At the largest lake in Sweden you should also challenge your fishing luck. Here you can catch excellent trolling trout, salmon, pike and perch.
