Deep clean and repairs needed

We stayed in this unit for spring break 2017 and gave it another chance… This property is in DESPERATE need of a DEEP clean and maintenance. We had to wash all of the silverware and silverware tray as well as the dishes, mugs and glasses because they were put away dirty. The floors were so filthy we had to clean our feet before getting into bed at night. There are also cockroaches in the unit. The toilet in the main upstairs bathroom is not attached to the floor and rocks back and forth when you stand up or sit down. It’s more of an HOA issue, but the path over the dune to beach is way too overgrown and hard to walk through. My husband cut his foot badly the first day we were there. I’ve been coming to Island House since 1986 when I was in high school, so this unit is disappointing. To end on a positive note, this is a fantastic location and very quiet and relaxing.
