We had a phenomenal time during our stay. It is peaceful, quiet, but not too far from Downton Port Angeles. So much to do in the house and on the property. Highly recommend this spot especially with such gracious and responsive hosts!!
The house was nice, comfortable and well equipped for our group of 8 adults. Kitchen was very well appointed and had extras you often forget like cooking oil. The location was a bit off the beaten path but Libby provided good directions. Overall a very nice place to stay!
Great directions before arrival, smooth check-in, well-equipped kitchen, kids space, all neccesary things all ages need for a comfortable stay. It could have not been better.
A fabulous property in a great location! Perfect access to downtown and to the Park, while still feeling like a nature refuge. Beautiful, well-kept home with a well-equipped kitchen. The kids had a lot of fun with all the toys, also.
Very lovely, nice being out in the woods, very private. Very comfortable after a day of hiking. Beds comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. Welcoming space for children. Would recommend it
We loved the house and all of the space. It was so comfy and quiet. Loved all of the beautiful trees outside and the game room was amazing for the kids.
This is our favorite property we've ever rented! There was room for everyone to spread out and the property was gorgeous. The hosts went above and beyond to make everything comfortable. Ample blankets, pillows, towels, kitchen was very well stocked, they even left us a s'mores kit. I could go on and on about many little things the hosts did that we don't normally see to make everything so nice. There were so many windows with a gorgeous view out of each one. Wifi worked well, comfortable beds, a short drive to many restaurants and shops.
This house was perfect for being close to everything while still being tucked away to enjoy the peacefulness of the area.
This place had loads of rooms and space for us to be more than comfortable, had we known how comfortable we’d be here we would’ve planned more time here.
The house had just about everything you could need for a home away from home. Our lovely host was very responsive and helpful. Had a fantastic time. Plenty of space for all of us (6 adults, 2 children) to enjoy our time comfortably. Easy drive to many great sights and hikes. We loved it.
This was an amazing, beautiful home. It was so spacious, with more than enough room for the 7 of us. My favorite parts were the extra touches, like the s'mores basket and the labeled kitchen. It was so helpful to be able to find everything. The hosts were super communicative, and I would 10/10 stay here again.
Loved everything about this place. We felt at home and the host really made sure there is everything you need. Amazing communication too. We couldn't find our code to get in and she reached out to us before I was able to search for her number to male sure we made it in okay. The kiddos were in love with the sofas and little kids room area. And omg the jacuzzi tub was an extra special treat. 110% recommend
The location is beautiful and the house was large enough to handle our big group. I was especially impressed with the responsiveness on the part to the owner. She responded VERY quickly to my questions. This was extremely helpful.
Our visit was aweome. Thank you for sharing your story about the house and about yoir grandparents. We had an absolute blast. We have children and a grandchild that live in P.A. and we brought some of our children and grandchildren with us from Utah. The grandkids had so much in the whole house. They loved the "kids playroom" and the hallway. Every room was very thoughtfully put together. We did a nice little hike on the property. All around our trip and stay at Angel's Landing couldn't have been better or more enjoyable. Thank you Again Libby
Entire family was impressed upon entry to house. Drive in was narrow gravel roads with short climb to a house circling driveway. Ample level parking.
Neighbor homes were unobtrusively distant or forest hidden. Deer with fawns in the yard and brush each morning.
House was very tidy and exceptionally well appointed with furniture and amenities.
Our stay was mostly evenings/nights and mornings as we were attending family reunion nearby.
The house was very roomy and quite long with three bedrooms and large day room and living room on main floor. Kitchen and dining area was modern and amply supplied. Directions as to use very helpful and obvious.
Basement room was somewhat of a museum for the owners. Very interesting, but we did not use it or the gaming that was available there. Bathrooms were clean, functional and inviting.
We were all very satisfied with our experience and thank the owners for sharing their home.
We were a family of 11; seven adults and four kids ages 9 to 15. We stayed four nights.
Pros: beautiful setting in the woods, and the owners gave perfect directions. Parking area is good, we got 3 cars in with no problem. Check in was easy, no trouble with the door. The living areas are generous, as is the master suite. Kitchen was easy to work in, lots of counter space. Plenty of plates, cups, glasses, silverware and utensils. Decent pots and pans. Good selection of spices in the cabinet. The deck area is comfortable, bbq worked fine. We appreciated the extra blankets, they came in very handy. They also provided a binder with tons of info about the area, including restaurants and attractions. We had excellent communication with the owner, even late in the evening.
Cons: Lots of plants at floor level, and lots of bric-a-brac, more than what shows in the photos. There was a french press, but no drip coffeemaker, we had to buy one. Also no blender.
Overall, it was a good choice for us. Close to town, but far enough out to feel like you are getting away.
This place was so cozy and relaxing. Very well stocked kitchen and house! Lots of extra blankets, pillows, air mattresses, and towels. We loved and wish we had been able to stay longer!
I wanted a memorable place to celebrate a decadal birthday and found it at Angeles Landing. Nestled in a beautiful setting, it provided ample space for my extended family of nine adults to relax, socialize and spread out. It’s proximity to Olympic National Park gave us access to forest and beach trails for hiking. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We’d all stay there again.

Could be a five star property
Both of our grown kids and their families stayed at Angels Landing in Port Angeles for one of our infrequent family reunions. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone and the location was very private, but it was dirty and dusty and the AC didn't work, and it was hot during one of our increasingly frequent heat waves. The gravel drive is quite steep and has wash-boarded so much we almost couldn't get up to the house. The home has a heat pump, which both heats and cools, but the AC side didn't work.
We loved this large beautiful house! It was perfect for our adult family of 5 but it would be great for an extended family with children too (children’s playroom and lots of great spaces for them!). I loved the spa bath in master bedroom, which is as big as a hotel room area and private. The sunken living room was great for reading etc; we couldn’t believe how many other areas there were including the tv room w/Netflix. I enjoyed morning breakfast etc on the porch w/nature sounds and privacy. Oh and there WAS a coffee pot and plenty of coffee (and a French press, and lots of spices/oils etc which made cooking here easy- restaurants in town were short-staffed and all had long waits). We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit too and overall, this has been our favorite VRBO out of 4 at the end of our trip! (We recommend guests bring insect repellent for eating dinner outside. We had anyway and worked fine; not needed in mornings by the time I was up).
