In the small village Paradiz you will find the beautiful vacation house and its pool. The surrounding area is quiet, in 20 minutes by car you can reach the resort of Rabac. Rabac is spoiled with beautiful beaches and a crystal clear sea. In the house there are two separate apartments. Separate entrances make the accommodation ideal for families or friends who value privacy. The terraces of the house are very spacious. On the first floor you can relax in the shade of a covered terrace, the terrace on the second floor offers plenty of sun. The house is a perfect base for cycling trips through the villages of Istria. Also get to know Labin, this place has a rich cultural heritage and offers events in the summer.

Ikke pengene værd

Vi kommer til et hus der absolut ikke lever op til de billeder vi kunne se på hjemmesiden. Huset er delt op i to lejligheder til hver 4 personer. Da vi var 4 personer havde vi regnet med kun at benytte den nederste etage, men den lejlighed er ubrugelig, og den lugtede også som om at det var længe siden at den havde været i brug. Vi havde forventning om, at vores ferieuge skulle foregå udendørs med poolen og terrassen som udgangspunk, men pga. de mange buske og frugttræer er poolen konstant til deling mellem mennesker og hvepse. Poolen er forøvrigt ikke ret stor, og i hvert fald ikke stor nok til 8 personer, og gelænderet man skal holde fast i når man går i og ud af poolen er ekstremt vakkelvornt. Den første aften forsøgte vi at sidde udendørs på den overdækkede terrasse, men haven var fyldt med myg, så man er nødt til at trække indenfor med lukkede vinduer hvis ikke man skal stikkes, og da huset ligger meget langt fra alt andet smutter man ikke lige på café eller restaurant. Indendørs er der så kun et lille sofabord at spise ved på første sal og slet intet i stueetagen. Benytter man, som os, lejligheden på første sal får man et par pæne værelser, men uden mulighed for at sove for åbne vinduer pga. myggene. Køkkenet var ikke noget at råbe hurra for - Den annoncerede opvaskemaskine var defekt (og fjernet fra hjemmesiden), men når der så samtidig ikke er varmt vand i køkkenet er det svært at vaske op. På terrassen var der en svalerede med unger, så fra tid til anden fløj svalerne omkring ørerne på os når vi sad der. Hvis man forvente at bruge det fitness udstyr man kan se på billederne bliver man skuffet, det er intet værd. Ejeren boede selv i et hønsehus bagerst på grunden og gik rundt og passede sine høns og frugttræer, så man var aldrig helt sikker på at være alene. Han talte forøvrigt kun kroatisk og italiensk, så i forhold til at vi forventede at kunne kommunikere med ham på både skandinavisk, engelsk og tysk så var det umuligt at forklare (eller spørge) ham om noget som helst. Vores anbefaling vil klart være ikke at vælge denne bolig!
