Mountain retreat with hot tub, private deck, kitchen & stunning views.

Stay at our tranquil mountain suite, conveniently 2 miles from the Eagle River Nature Center and 2 miles from the North Fork Trailhead, both with unlimited access to Chugach State Park. Enjoy a private hot tub, peaceful gardens, outdoor fire pit, among the natural surroundings of Eagle River valley. Many native trees are present on the property, providing home to several species of birds. Indoor amenities include high speed internet, smart TV, refrigerator, freezer, kitchen area with sink, gas range, toaster,coffee maker, microwave, and full bath. The upstairs of house is occupied full time by our family, and guests will have uninterrupted access to the basement level suite, including all listed amenities, via a private entry on the ground level of the suite. Security is provided with a key pad deadbolt. Local wildlife is frequently seen in the area, and our chickens may be seen and heard foraging out and around the property.

An excellent find in Eagle River

My girlfriend and I were looking for a decadent weekend stay near Anchorage, and the Ram Valley Inn fit the bill! A simple but comfortable guest suite, with all the appointments of home, along with one of the best hot tubs we've ever found and a sweeping mountain view. Highly recommended!

Awesome VRBO!!

Everything about this place is awesome. The view from the hot tub is breathtaking. The landscaping is beautiful. 20 minutes from Anchorage. Far better than staying at a hotel. Couldn't ask for better hosts. Nikki asked if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. I told her if she could make it stop raining that would be great. A half hour later it stopped raining and the sun was shining!! 😁 Thank you so much for everything!!

Beautiful area

A nice place to stay, Beautiful country, very helpful and informative hosts. There are a few bells and whistles that have lost their new polish but overall a great experience. The home above the rental unit has some noise from the family and dogs moving about but this is not an issue at night. Since we are awake and out and about during the day it’s of little concern. The bed frame squeaks real bad to the point if either of us roll over we both wake up.

So beautiful!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Alaska and this property was everything we wanted and more. The views are impeccable and the guest area is cozy and welcoming. The hot tub has a great view of the mountains while you enjoy your morning coffee and the drive and accessibility is easy from Anchorage. Highly recommend!

Beautiful garden view from the hot tub!

Relaxing, comfortable lodging situated in a gorgeous garden setting. Had everything we needed from a comfy bed to an amazing hot tub with views of the gardens and pond. Would love to come back for another stay!

Beautiful place

At first glance we were a little nervous with how close we were to the hosts and that we were just on the bottom floor of their home. But we never saw them, it was quiet, the hot tub was wonderful, and we had a kitty visitor every night :) I would highly recommend this home-y stay!

Great place

As advertised. Very clean. Hot tub worked and was great after a day of hiking. Bed and couch were very comfortable. An air mattress was supplied but we didn’t need it since the couch was comfy. Appliances were perfect for breakfast and quick meals, but probably not large enough to do a big meal. No dining room table but a good coffee table to eat a quick meal on. Bathroom had plenty of room. Feels very private even though hosts are upstairs.

Awesome Eagle River Space

We loved our short stay in Eagle River! The views from the hot tub and backyard were beautiful. The inside of the home is very comfortable and cozy with a living room space and newly updated kitchen. The owners live above but we didn’t see them much so it definitely is a private space. It was awesome to be just 30 minutes from Anchorage so we could head into town for the day and stay for dinner. However, Eagle River has some nice hikes and views close by. We definitely recommend this place and hope to be back someday!

Nice, quiet location

We had a real nice stay with Nicole and Jacob. Nice and quiet with some cool mountain views. I enjoyed my morning visits with Jenny the cat (we nicknamed her Bear Snack) while drinking my coffee. We really didn't need anything but the hosts seemed receptive, contacting us mid trip to see how we were doing. I'd def recommend staying here.

Beautiful, cozy spot!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful little staycation here. It’s a beautiful location, right near the river and hiking trails and not far from town. The hot tub was so nice, everything was clean and cozy. We loved it.

We had an amazing time. Wish there would have been 3 robes instead of 2 since we had booked for 3 adults and the TV log in was confusing but the hot tub was to die for amazing views and awesome experiences.

Nice stay just out of the city

We came to Alaska for a short weekend. We didn’t want to stay in the city or at a hotel and we saw this gem. It is a very nice spot with good views. It’s not far from anchorage either.

Relaxing in Nature

The property is beautiful and conveniently located totown while also being tucked away in an amazing natural oasis with the river and nature center just down the street. The hot tub is a rare gem in the area and was huge with a lot of fun bells and whistles to make it a truly luxurious experience. The hosts are extremely professional and thoughtful. Communications were quick and easy. We look forward to our next visit!

Quiet seclusion

Was a wonderful place, nestled in the forest close to Eagle River hiking trails and the Nature Center. We saw a black bear not a mile from the property.

We loved staying at this beautiful VRBO and the owners were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place and loved the tranquility. Close enough to town but makes you feel you are at a spa retreat. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Owner even left a welcome basket and card. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing space 20 minutes from Anchorage.

This adorable space has everything you need. The hosts thoughtfully left out a basket of snacks which helped since we didn’t arrive until about 2 am. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the hot tub was an amazing way to relax after a day of travel and hiking. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anybody asking.
