Horrible Experience

Our room was booked to someone else so we ended up in a random room and manager and owners refused to make things right. The room was nothing compared to what I booked. Wouldn’t recommend using this owner to anyone. We were constantly lied to during the stay that we would be took care of forThe confusion but that didn’t happen. Very disappointed in the stay.

Awesome Weekend Getaway

We booked this property for the weekend for a birthday celebration with family. The property is very clean and kid friendly all around. The property manager was very quick in responding with any questions we had. We also left an item and they responding quickly and was able to find what we left. I would definitely recommend this property and will be coming back to stay again!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The condo and resort is beautiful. The view absolutely gorgeous! Everyone was very friendly and always willing to help. The owners were very responsive whenever we had a question. We would definitely rent the condo again if we ever visit Daytona again.

Great Location, luxury at the beach

This is a very nice unit. I've stayed at several at Wyndham, and this one is definitely on the high end. Great corner unit on the 24th floor, beautiful views, nicely appointed, great large patio. Not the cheapest, but one of the best

Everything was magnificent! I highly recommend this place

The view in the master bedroom is amazing. The jacuzzi tub was the best!! The kitchen is very nice with up to date furnish. The whole place is spacious and very clean. Everything you need is there. The only thing is to bring extra tissue and if you old school like me dish detergent to wash dish through the sink.

Mold, Dirty Sheets, and Poor Communication

Oh where to start. This had the potential to be an excellent rental. The location was great, had a beautiful view, and the resort amenities were perfect for our family of 5 with middle and high school aged kids. BUT. The check-in process was unclear and delayed. The front desk didn’t have our information on file since the unit was managed by a separate owner. Once we were checked in, I immediate found black mold in the shower and in the washing machine. There were plumbing issues throughout the unit - Basically nothing drained. THEN, when we opened the pull out couch we found staining that looked like blood all over the sheets. We reached out by phone and text to management with no response for over 24 hours. When we finally received a response, we were told housecleaning would be sent up. They never came. We also had a maintenance need that wasn’t addressed. Aside from these big issues, the unit itself was just poorly stocked for a VRBO. We basically had to buy everything including toilet paper and beach towels, and there were no extra sheets or blankets. The kitchen only had 4 mismatched plates even though the unit is advertised as fitting a family of 8. I asked for some percentage of reimbursement given the health and safety hazards (which I photographed and sent to them),but management stopped responding to us as soon as we checked out. We’re typically pretty tolerant of small issues in rentals, especially if management is responding to us. Bottom line - don’t rent.here

Good Stay

All in all, the place was good. The listing was pretty accurate, and the pictures were accurate. The property itself was a little disappointing, because there were only four elevators and not enough parking spaces for the size of resort that it was. To be limited to one parking spot when you have a two bedroom condo and not be able to get a parking spot ever was very disappointing. The condo itself was good. It was missing an iron and the owner had one brought in the next day. I did let him know that the dryer door would not stay closed, but we used the ironing board to hold it closed while using. I would stay at this resort again .

Biketoberfest.

Stayed on this property with friends/family for Biketoberfest. (Bike week). This is a great property. The room looks just like the pictures. The only problem I saw was the ice maker didn’t work. Because this room is owned by an owner, we couldn’t get room service or anything from down stairs. EX. Towels, toiletries. Which was ok with us. There is a washer/dryer to wash up everything. There were beach chairs and toys for use in a closet. My overall experience was great. Would definitely book again.

We loved the condo, the location was amazing and the owners were great. Fast replies when needed and super nice. Will definitely be keeping them in mind for future vacations. We love staying at the Ocean Walk and it’s location to everything is perfect.

Host unwilling to fix issues with the unit

the view, and the space was the only good thing about this property. The washer had wet laundry and built-up mold. the ice maker was broken, and i needed to buy basic essentials in order to prepare meals. someone came and took the wet towels but never returned to clean the mold. the host did not fix the icemaker or replace basic kitchen item.

Daytona is a great place with lots to do and great places to eat.

If I could give a 10 for the view I would. A10 for the convenience and walking distance to everything. The condo is laid out great. IMO the condo needs a major cleaning from top to bottom and the balcony. The carpet and living room furniture need cleaned and several things need fixed. For the rental price this condo should be immaculate. The owner was easy to text. We were there for Easter and visiting family and every moment the view did not dissappoint

Good stay

Nice condo layout and beautiful beach during the day time. The condo unit could use a deep cleaning, some new kitchenware, some repairs, and an iron would have been nice. Parking and check in were a breeze. Not much to do in the evening in the area, and we didn't feel safe letting the teens go anywhere after dark. Sunrise from the balcony was beautiful and having laundry in the unit was awesome.

24th floor of Ocean Walk North Condominium

Property was in a nice location with walking to several restaurants next door and shops. Lots of activities to do on property. Would recommend.

We live in Punta Gorda, FL. Our family has been going to Daytona for over 20 years. We watched the Ocean Walk being built. We have stayed at the proper many many times. It's NOTHING like it use to be at all !! Denise did her best to take care of us. She even let me add an extra day for my granddaughter. Thank you Denise. As for the Ocean Walk property and staff. Leaves a LOT to be desired! Upon check-in, we where told that we could not check-in till the next day. I showed the front desk clerk my reservations with my added day. She insisted that there where other tenants in our room currently. My eyes got big and I didn't know what to do. I did call Denise the host. She did call and take care of it. About 45 minutes laster. The Ocen Walk surprisingly waved a magic wand and got the "for sure" other tenants out of the room. Sorry, that was sarcastic. I'm so frustrated with the Ocean Walk! This has happened to us way to many times with them. If I could make a suggestion with anyone. Try your very best to bypass check-in through the hotel and, go directly through the host. What I mean by this is... Some host will have a lock key pad to enter the unit. Mail you any kind of wristbands and, property key to enter the common areas that is required through the hotel. I have done this with other units and, it works out so much better! We have tried to give this place a chance because of its location. Every time we do. We just notice more and more how they are just letting the place fall apart. Unfortunately, if we bring our granddaughter back to the area. It will be at a different property!!

Great ocean front double balcony view

This unit was very spacious and the view of the ocean from the double balcony on the 24th floor was amazing! There was plenty of seating in the living/dining areas. The in unit laundry was very helpful, especially for washing and drying bath towels and our own beach towels. A few issues we had with the unit were: some carpet stains, mattresses and pillows that really need upgraded, living room seating was a little dingey/worn, and kitchen items were a little lacking. Overall, the resort was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the nice beach area, the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub, and the indoor putt putt. Staff all wore masks and there were many signs (including floor markers on the elevators) reminding of social distancing, which were appreciated.

This by far has been the best condo we have stayed in at Daytona Beach. Couldn't ask for a better view and there was so much room for family to move around and not be on top of one another. Would definitely stay here again.
