Great place to stay

We had a great time here! The home was perfect for our visit and we loved the outdoor spaces. Temperatures were perfect for the firepit and sitting outside. We will definitely stay again on our next visit!

Great time at Camp Hickory House!

This camp is exactly as it looks in the pictures- super cute! We loved how it was decorated, the porch area is such a nice spot and the yard was surprisingly big! Adelle was very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend.

Wonderful Getaway

This place was perfect for our stay in Vermont. Adelle was super responsive. One morning our power went out & Adelle dropped off an extra cooler and ice to help keep our Vermont cheese cool & fresh. The lake & kayaks were a perfect addition to our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy camp

We enjoyed our stay at Hickory House!. The camp was quiet and everything we needed was there. I had wanted to kayak, but there was no way i could get the kayak to the lake on my own so that was my only bummer

Vermont vacation

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful time in St Albans. The house was so cozy. We spent most of our time in the outdoor living area. We loved the location. We were visiting family who work at Kill Kare State Park so the location was perfect. Vermont is a beautiful area. I look forward to returning and hopefully renting your house again.

great little getaway

This is a great little house, complete with cozy decor, a well-stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor spaces (grill, firepit, and screened-in deck/living room), and plenty of games to play. The neighborhood was very quiet and some friendly dogs from the neighbors came by to say hello. It was a great basecamp for bike rides, paddleboarding at Kill Kare SP, and a lunch in town. Lake Champlain and St. Albans Bay are just stunning!

GETAWAY

It's a great little cabin to have a getaway. THERE IS NO TV, but there is good internet service. The fire pit and screen in porch, make it a place to relax

Camp Hickory House Review

We were very pleased with our stay at Camp Hickory House. The camp inside and the grounds were well kept and we literally had everything we needed at our disposal. The owners left us a welcome gift and information packet to help us decide some of our weekly events. The camp is situated in close proximity to the St Alban's Bay public boat landing, so it made our trips to the lake very convenient. We would highly recommend Camp Hickory House to other travelers looking for something other than a hotel room. We wanted the privacy of a home, yet the feeling of camping. Our vacation was amazing and having a great place to stay where it's clean, friendly, and safe is a comfort all in itself. A+ rating for Camp Hickory House. Would love to return in the neat future.

Personal oasis

Just fantastic. I selfishly wish this Camp were my own. Attention to detail and sweet, surprise provisions were top notch. Owners provided excellent communication. We loved the “things to do locally” dossier as well as vintage board games, the fire pit, the Lake and kayaks, and the outdoor screened-in “cabana” were all simply perfection. Thank you!
