Welcome to the desirable Mandalay Shores, your home away from home, steps to local beaches, restaurants, shops, and much more! This beach house is equipped to a high standard and to anticipate every need for a luxurious and relaxing stay. We have made an effort to make this home a comfortable retreat for guests of all ages.

As you walk into your two story home, just a short distance from the beach, you are greeted with a dining area to the left which offers a large wooden dining table with seating for 8, a gas fire place, and wet bar area. There is also an oversized island with 3 additional bar stools.

Your fully equipped kitchen offers all stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter top space to cook and prep meals, two stovetops and a large butler's pantry. There is a separate laundry room, half bathroom, and access to your three-car garage to the side of the kitchen.

The main floor bedroom offers a king size bed, gas fireplace, LG smart television, and French doors leading out to the relaxing backyard.

The large living area offers an LG 65 inch television, sofa, tables and chairs, and plenty of games to keep everyone entertained! The air hockey table and foosball table will keep you entertained and having fun. Off the living area is a full size bathroom. French doors lead you out to your backyard, which includes a gas BBQ, dining table, couches, outdoor shower, and firepit.

The second floor living area offers an oversized primary bedroom with a Cal king size bed, gas fireplace, LG smart television and bathroom with stand up shower and separate soaking tub.

Off from the primary bedroom you will find an office area with a desk, computer monitor, keyboard, mouse and laptop docking station, and a separate kids room with a twin size bunk bed, a crib, and twin size trundle bed.

Two additional upstairs guest bedrooms include one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds, each with their own LG smart TVs. Another full size bathroom is on this floor, along with an oversized deck with plenty of seating areas for all to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets, sun bathe, or just hang out and relax.

The garage is equipped with all of the fun beach toys you will need for your stay and bicycles to explore the beautiful Oxnard area. The smart televisions in each bedroom and living area are set up for you to stream from your personal devices or log into your favored streaming platforms.

Well laid out house with private walk to the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying in this house! We had three families with young children and this was a perfect layout for us! From the arcade room, to the bunk beds and little power wheels that they drove to the beach every day, it is a great house for a family vacation. Plenty of fridge and freezer space, and many more appliances than listed. We had a few good margarita nights with the margarita machine, and there was both an iron and steamer available. The house was very clean and in good condition. We were even able to park 3 cars including a 3rd row suv in the space provided-just make sure everyone parks on an angle with one in the garage. There is a beautiful park with a great playground walking distance from the house as well.If we ever make it back to Oxnard, we will definitely be staying here again.

Amalfi House - Great outside access and furnishings

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our all adult group enjoyed our annual beach stay at the Amalfi house. We particularly appreciated having two outside areas with tables, chairs and lounges. The backyard was even accessible through the common area, which we found especially useful. And, it had both a gas grill and a gas firepit and an outside eating area. Beach towels and chairs were provided.The house was furnished well with good sleeping, eating and relaxing space. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans and other supplies, as well as a large pantry for storing our food and an extra refrigerator in the garage.Punch code access eliminated any need for keys and there was garage space for two cars and driveway space for three.

Overall, a good stay

We had a nice time at this house but there were a few misleading things in the listing, mostly that the "fifth" bedroom is within the master bedroom, not its own separate room. Also, the house is more dated and in need of some upkeep, doesn't look exactly look like the pictures. Finally, many of the dishes and pans in the cupboards had food on them, requiring the washing of anything we used since we were unsure if it was clean or dirty. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen had most everything we needed, and family room area was nice for movie watching, games, etc. Good location to restaurants, marina and beach as well.

This property was the perfect choice for our family reunion. Everyone loved it!

Except for an unresolved problem with a bathroom shower, we give it 5 stars. Exceptionally equiped for recreation.

Excellent family reunion house

We had such a good time staying at this beach house. The kids (2 and 7) loved picking their individual rooms, getting to play in the game room which was a big hit, watching favorite shows on the big screen in the living room (the 2 year old in the early morning when no one else was awake!) or staying up late with bedroom screen in the room (the 7 year old who chose the two blue bed room). The beds are comfy and there was plenty of space for us, even though half our family was unable to attend at the last minute. The grandparents enjoyed their stay in the downstairs master. We enjoyed our stay in the upstairs very grand master with the toddler tucked into the day bed around the corner each night and for naps. The bath tub was excellent to enjoy while the toddler napped post beach visit. We loved how close it was to the beach, the short walk there and back very doable (even while carrying the toddler) and it wasn’t crowded at all. We utilized the beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of space, dishware, and cookware. We enjoyed happy hour around the kitchen island and dinner at the big table. We meant to go pick up food from a restaurant, but we ended up buying enough food to cook all our meals at home which made for plenty of quality time together. And in the later evening we sat around the fire pit trying to keep our laughter down. The neighborhood was very pleasant and quiet. We would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a nice beach getaway with family or friends. We hope to come again with those who missed out this time.
