Great location and a lovely house.

Nice house for a visit to all of the attractions around springfield, and very easy to find. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Avoid like the (literal) plague!

Terrible rental. Upon arriving, noticed the house smelled musty. Checked the A/C filter and it was CAKED in grime. obviously hadn't been cleaned in months. I have pictures but VRBO won't let me post them in reviews. It went downhill from there. Pillows were old and badly stained. Strong smell of cigarettes in the rear bedroom. Dead flies smeared onto rear window. Not clean. Rancid grease in the floor of the oven. had to get property manager to bring over a new microwave. The property had an active mouse infestation, with droppings in the sheets of the one of the bedrooms and the floor of both bedrooms, and the kitchen cabinets. Property manager tried to help but the entire house needed a deep clean and an exterminator. Felt as though it had been vacant for quite awhile. Left after one night although I was booked for seven nights. Homeowner refused to refund any more than half. I will be disputing the full charge on my card. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Hello Robert, we know that your personal circumstances bringing you to Springfield were so stressful, and we can still feel your anger. We did our very best to address every concern right away, from doing every single thing that you ask, recognizing your personal situation, being in there for you, bringing you a brand new microwave and pillows and such. We also offered for you to stay at another home we have so you wouldn’t need to stay at a hotel. We appreciate your feedback and addressed even more deep cleaning with our housekeeper and even refunded you for half of your stay. We don’t recommend you as a guest Robert. We are sure any accommodation or trying to please you would not have helped because you were struggling with your personal situation. Most of our guests are GREAT! Some are not.

Needs a lot of work!

Not very clean Old and needs updating Bathroom old and needs repairs Bathroom sink water pressure was just a little stream. Kitchen hardly had any equipment to cook with.

I’m so sorry that you feel that way. We have the house professionally cleaned and we checked on this home several times that week before you arrived because of the -7 degrees temperatures in Springfield to make sure the pipes were ok and to make sure the home was perfect for you. It may be that the sink was a little bit frozen and we will address it immediately. Thank you for letting us know. We will check on the kitchen too because we stocked it with absolutely everything. Thanks.

Walk to Mercy in less then 5 min

I am a traveling healthcare provider and landed a contract at Mercy in Springfield Missouri. I travel with my girlfriend and our two fur babies. We chose this property because of its past reviews and proximity to Mercy Hospital. I walk to and from work everyday takes less then 5 min to get there. Great neighbors, quiet safe street( with the exception of the Medevac helicopters flying overhead) Great fenced In yard for our furbabies to play. All appliances you need washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot. Flat top stove. Everything you need. Walk to Mercy in less then 5 Min. The host is a angel on this earth. Attentive to every need you have while staying. Genuinely cares about your comfort and well being. She has become a mother to us while we are so far away from home. Do not hesitate to book!!!
