We had a wonderful stay. The communication with the host was outstanding. The family room and kitchen area are very large and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect to airport and many activities.
Good place to stay if going to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Very roomy home for a family of five with three TV sets. Beds were comfortable and big kitchen. Was a lovely comfortable home to stay at.
We stayed for three nights. This place is very clean with three nice size bedrooms. It was very well kept and around 30 minutes to Bar Harbor. We enjoyed our stay.
This house served us perfectly and was one of the nicest and cleanest homes we’ve stayed at for a private home. Pleasant, spacious and quiet to say the very least. I would recommend this home to everyone looking for the same accommodations as we were.
I had a wonderful experience renting this house. It was impeccably clean and had a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The maintenance and decoration were top-notch, making it a very comfortable and enjoyable being there for a few days…… highly recommended
My family of 4 (children are young adults) had a relaxing time. The location was about a 30 minute drive outside of Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia National Park which was very convenient. The property was spotless, comfortable and exactly as described! Thank you for hosting our family!
Spacious 2 Bedroom home. Although it is located right off of a main road, it was a bit remote (35-40 minute drive) from Bar Harbor and Acadia. But there are also nice trails and a few restaurants nearby.
Our family had a wonderful experience at this spacious home. My wife and I have 3 adult children and this home was perfect for our trip. We spent several days in Acadia and Bar Harbor and it was great to come home to this quiet, peaceful home on a country setting. We would definitely come here again in the future

The house and yard were amazing. Very quiet and the boys loved playing in the yard.
Missing was the water that was mentioned and the lawn was quite long while we were there.
This house was the perfect location for visiting Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula and Bar Harbor. We loved our stay here. One of the cleanest and most comfortable locations we have stayed. Information in the property description was exactly correct. Communication with owner was also excellent. We would stay here again and recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home and quiet property!!
We drove from Texas to visit family in Hancock. We were a party of 4: Mom, Dad, and 2 adult children. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house was perfect for us. It had everything we might need. Since we have relatives living 2 miles away we only made breakfast there. It is close to the road but so quiet we never heard any traffic. The beds were comfortable and showers were great. It is only 40 min from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit.
We have family in the area and stayed at this property before. It is a large 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. It has a very big kitchen and large dining table. We actually just had breakfast there before heading out for the day since it is convenient to Ellsworth for shopping (Walmart, Hanover, LL Bean outlet) and close to all the places we wanted to visit (Bar Harbor, Schoodic, Bass Harbor Head). The house is clean and well provisioned and has a large driveway. A big change since 2022 when we stayed previously is the addition of Samsung mini-split A/C & heating units in the living room and 2 bedrooms. We didn't know how they worked (it would help to have instructions in the binder), but didn't need them since the weather this time of year was nice. This is one of the best VRBO places we've stayed at.
We’re from FL and this was our first trip to Maine. We’re retired and in our 70’s.
The house was super clean and nicely equipped (we traded dishwashing duty!). Easy to get in and out of. The king suite had a comfortable bed and accessible shower. We got a little chilly a couple mornings but couldn’t figure the heat, so we just on more clothes! Nothing serious! The area is very quiet and we felt very safe/secure there.
We didn’t cook much, we did enjoy Helen’s, Riverside Cafe, and Finelli NY Pizza.
We were most interested in seeing Acadia NP, this is about a 30 minute drive, easy! It is amazing and very crowded. Get out early.
Our host was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!
Wonderful, comfortable house/home. It had everything we needed. Loved the fireman decorations. Nice fire pit & grill outside. Thanks for the washer & dryer when traveling with a toddler. 😉
Easy drives to both sides of Acadia NP. Nice town of Ellsworth nearby & a LLBeen outlet.
Good location, close to Acadia NP and Schoodic Peninsula
Very happy with our 3-night stay here. House was very clean, spacious and kitchen was well appointed. Bed comfortable. Good location for Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula. Private, quiet, yet close to Route 1. Would stay here again if we return to the area.
