Nice home in great area

The home was very nice and met all of our needs. The neighborhood was great with many nice restaurants within easy walking distance. The owner was very helpful and reached out to make sure things were going well.

Location, location, location!

Wonderful old home with updated kitchen and bath just off Bardstown road. Location is excellent, in walking distance to many restaurants, cafés, and shops. Highly recommend a crepe at Safai or a nice dinner at Seviche.

Great location

We had a wonderful experience with our stay here. We were in town for a basketball tournament and the location was perfect for us. The house was clean and well stocked with all of the essentials we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and is within walking distance of many great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again next year when we come back to Louisville!

Very nice. Reminded us of uptown New Orleans. Great neighborhood with excellent food and bars. Noche and Ceviche were both fantastic! Against The Grain has incredible burgers as well.

Older house upgraded for comfort - Great Location

Great neighborhood - walking distance to restaurants and shops, but also nice for walks in residential section - interesting houses and landscapes. Nice kitchen - gourmet appliances, includes good knives which is rare. Comfy living room and beds. Two upstairs BRs and one down, but only one bathroom. Plenty of towels.

Beautiful, spacious and great location rental

We absolutely loved staying here. Tony was an amazing host. The flat is so spacious, decorated beautifully and had all the amenities we needed. We were able to walk around to shops and restaurants and not have to use our car. We did take a day trip to Mammoth Cave and had a blast. The location of the house is perfect. We felt safe walking around. We used the parking behind the house which was so convenient. Thank you for having us Tony. We hope we can visit again sometime in the future.

I stayed at this lovely house with my daughter and son for several days. We were traveling for basketball and wanted the conveniences of home and this was surely it. The place was well taken care of, very cozy, and the beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. Tony, the owner was incredibly responsive and very helpful. He referred us to several places in the area and we ended up eating at Noche, for sure one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The location was convenient to where we needed to be, but also close to stores and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent Location, Great Apartment, Wonderful Family Time

We stayed here in July 2021 with two of our adult children. Tony was super -responsive to any questions we had. The apartment was perfect for our family unit. The dining table was great for playing our favorite card and board games. The location is easily walkable to a diverse variety of eating options. This is quick access to the highway systems. The location is a short trip if you are visiting or touring one of the seminaries. There is a wide variety of shopping options nearby. We will definitely be making a return trip.

Charming Home, Location, Location, Location

We absolutely fell in love with this home. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Immaculately clean, charming, and incredibly comfortable, it exceeded our expectations. The four spacious bedrooms provided plenty of room for everyone, and the large dining table made gathering for meals so enjoyable. The gourmet kitchen was a dream, fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. The peaceful backyard, complete with a firepit and patio area, made for the perfect retreat. Off-street parking is a rare gem in this area and was a huge plus. The location is fantastic, just steps from the vibrant shops and restaurants on Bardstown Rd yet tucked away enough to enjoy quiet and relaxation. The hosts were amazing, providing seamless communication and always being available for any questions. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Great location, but cleanliness lacking

This property is in a terrific location with its own parking. I really appreciated that they had dishwasher tabs and laundry soap. If you are a clean person this might not be the place for you, towels and bed sheets are stained and I am not sure our sheets had been washed when we arrived. Our other issue was with the wifi. Ir went out day 4 and we ne we got it back, the owner tried to be helpful but ultimately put us in charge of speaking with the wifi company! Overall the stay was less than desirable.

Let me clarify. First of all, the bedding and towels were definitely washed! I should have stuck to my policy and not let anyone under 25 rent my house. But I made and exception for a college kid. Justin called me on Friday at 7:00PM and told me the wifi had not been working all day. He stated that he had to have internet because he needed it for school. I was out of town on vacation and eating dinner with my family, but when he called I immediately got on the phone with Spectrum to get it fixed. After an hour negotiating with Spectrum I got a ticket escalated and I asked them to call Justin to directly to coordinate access into the house because either I was going to call him or they were…I thought this would expedite getting the internet working since it was urgent. Justin agreed and I told him they were going to call him in the morning between 8:00-9:00am. The next day, I looked to see if the internet was working and it was not. Never heard a word from Justin. I got back on the phone with spectrum for another 1-1/2 hours trying to get the appointment escalated, but this time they refused. In a last ditch attempt to get his internet working, I sent my maintenance guy over there to exchange the router, which did not work. While I was talking to my maintenance guy, I learned that Justing didn’t answer the Spectrum call because he didn’t want to get out of bed. He never once told me that this was a problem for him, just like he never told me the internet was out until the end of the day on a Friday evening, just like he never told me there was any other problem with his bedding. I’ve had only 5-star review for this house and I pride myself on providing my guests with the best experience possible. I asked him when he arrived earlier that week if everything was okay and he said it was great. The rating he left is reflective of his frustration that the internet didn’t work, which could have been avoided with better communication. “IF” there were any problems with sheets or anything else, I would have immediately taken care of the issue. These things do happen in a short term rental, but it’s how your host responds.

Perfect weekend getaway

The previous owner used it for Short Term rentals, and we quickly fell in love with being hosts, and creating spaces that make our guests feel like they're at home.
