Walk to the gorgeous - and private - Manomet Beach each morning from this comfortable, duplex in Plymouth. This second-floor apartment comes with lovely outdoor space, including a furnished deck with a gas grill. On the grounds, enjoy an outdoor shower to rinse away lingering sand, and both an alfresco dining area and a firepit for outdoor dinners and marshmallow-roasting.

This apartment is half of a duplex, adjoining a separate two-story home (there is a connecting door between the two units that remain locked). In addition to being a short walk from Manomet Beach, you'll be close to several ponds, conservation areas, golf courses, and the heart of Downtown Plymouth Harbor only a short drive away.

Spend a day exploring the neighborhood using the local bike trails or taking out the provided kayak. If you're more into indoor entertainment, this retreat offers an inviting living room with a smart TV (there's no cable, only streaming capability). Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, two well-furnished bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

The supplies were very helpful. The mixed message signs and the broken toilet were not so good.

Good location, poor communication

This was advertised as having air conditioning but when we arrived late in the evening for our stay there were only two window units stored in closets. We made it work the first night as it stayed cool enough but we cut out visit short as heat warning temperatures were expected during the rest of our stay. Its not reasonable to expect guests install air conditioning. I sent messages about this issue on vrbo and vacasa and requested a refund on the unused night of our stay. The only response we got several hours later was a managemt employee asking if we needed help installing the ac (no thanks) and that they would contact the owners to let them know the ac hadn't been cleaned and installed. Never heard anything else. The location is good and close to a beach, the place is fine, but the issue with air conditioning and lack of communication spoiled our stay.

Plymouth Cabin

The apartment is very dated with very old appliances and rustic furniture (the stove did not heat enough to boil water). There was a very old/stale smell we could not dissipate, and the cooling required a box fan in the hall to circulate the bedroom A/C. There were no trach can liners - either in the can or available. The beach about 4 blocks away was a good sandy beach with hightide swimming availability. The unit had a makeshift outdoor shower - which was very handy for washing off salt water after swimming.
