The property is located just off the road of State RT 50 in a quiet setting that offers plenty of relaxation for you and your guests. Island Retreat sits on a 5 acre lake and is the perfect destination for you in Albany Ohio!

Relax and stargaze around a firepit or watch an amazing sunrise. The 6-acre Lake offers some great fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and some much-needed rest and relaxation. Plenty of nature in the nature preserve from deer, fox, ducks and geese. Take a 45 minute drive from your vacation rental to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

The Twin Home Vacation Rental is nestled in the rolling hills of Southeast on 20 acres of nature preserve while still remaining close to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 4 comfortable bedrooms, large living spaces, and a spacious kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us at this unique lake view retreat fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and great quality time. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.

Upon arrival to the Twin Retreat, guests will be greeted to two vacation rentals with awesome lake views. Guests will pleasantly be surprised upon entering the retreat because they will be welcomed to 3 living areas between two properties offering open concept living, dining and kitchen areas. After spending the day outdoors, family and friends can relax on the relaxing sofas to watch movies, cook homemade meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or play card games around the kitchen table.

There are 5 spacious bedrooms that our guests can head to after a long day of hiking in the local area. There is a comfortable yard and plenty of field space for your dog(s) to roam around. Our favorite features of the retreat are the lake views, firepit and outdoor space. Guests can enjoy quality time underneath the beautiful Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest stars. The outdoor firepit gives our guests the opportunity to share memories, tell stories, and roast marshmallows around a crackling fire. The front porch and spacious yard allows our guests to enjoy flamed grilled food and play yard games. The hot tub is located for easy access on the back side of house so guests can utilize this anytime of the year.

Guests will walk into the retreat to a beautiful, spacious living area and fully equipped kitchen. The 5 bedrooms offer a place for our customers to “hit the hay” after a day of exploring all the nearby state parks. When staying here, guests will want to utilize one of the best features - the outdoor space. The back deck is spacious, allowing our guests to enjoy cookouts, eat around the picnic table, take in the wonderful views, and relax in the hot tub. Wander over to the newly renovated firepit with benches, Adirondack chairs, and a swing. The overlooks the private lake Spend time under the stars, creating memories and roasting marshmallows around a crackling, warm fire.
The kitchens have all the amenities of home. Whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast or a gourmet dinner, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to create delicious meals. The spacious countertops offer plenty of room to prepare meals, and the modern appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, make cooking and cleaning up a breeze. There’s also a large dining table that can comfortably seat everyone in your group, making it the perfect place for family meals or game nights.
