A cozy cabin feeling in Midtown Reno. Well stocked kitchen. Green fenced yard and ample driveway parking. Close to everything. 5 min from airport. 2 min from VA Hospital and midtown shops. 5 min from Renown Hospital and Walmart. 7 min from UNR, downtown, Winco, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

The living room sets the cabin tone with glazed knotty pine walls and ceiling and a brick fireplace with a realistic fireplace insert. Newly remodeled with crisp white trim and baseboards.

Couch is a comfy additional sleeping space and loveseat reclines.

We have a swamp cooler and 2 bedroom air conditioners in the summer.
The yard is covered in green grass and semi shaded with a large tree in front.
Yard is fenced.

We own another vacation rental next door in case you have need for a second space for traveling friends/family. Look it up as “Stay at home Reno”

You have access to the entire house and front yard, part of the backyard including covered patio with rattan couches. You also have access to driveway, parking for 4 cars (2 deep and 2 wide).
I now have a rental car available for you to rent so you can avoid the long wait at the car rental counter. Reasonable rates. 7 passenger Dodge Grand Caravan. Message me for details and availability.

Comfortable little cottage in a quiet neighborhood
We were looking for a home base to explore Reno for the week, and this little place did the trick. The host is very responsive and helpful, and the house is well-stocked with kitchenware and even food items like spices and cooking oil. Sometimes when places have leftover food items, they are old and expired, but here they all seemed current and fresh (I checked the dates!). Really appreciated the dedicated driveway for the place, because the neighborhood street is lined with cars without much room to park. While the neighborhood is not scenic or "pretty" (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), it was quiet -- even on Halloween night. Easy to navigate to from main roads. A few things of note that might be helpful in certain cases: - The bedroom with "two twin beds" is very small. The second bed is a trundle (under the first) and pulls out, but doesn't leave much room to walk around to reach the door. Fine for sleeping, but tight. - The living room is arranged with the TV on a wall sideways to the couches (see property photos). If you have neck or back issues turning your head, this is not a comfortable arrangement. - The bedroom with the queen bed stays very bright at night from the streetlights, despite the window blinds. Recommend bringing a sleeping mask if that sort of thing keeps you awake. - The floor was cold in winter; bring slippers! All in all a lovely stay!

So cozy and charming
The place had everything we needed and was so cozy, so charming, so homey. She even had quite a bit of food stocked in the pantry and fridge which was so helpful and an extra that really made the place feel like home. The host was right next door and was so sweet when meeting her. She kept her distance while we stayed there to which was great for feeling like we had the privacy we wanted. Would definitely stay here again :)

Reno visit
Was a wonderful time. My friend and I have physical shortcomings. A handrail in front and rear stairs would be great but would still book property again. Everything was done with care in place. Highly recommend
