This is our second time staying at this location with these hosts. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. The location is perfect on the edge of town. Great place to stay.
The property is very private and peaceful, off the main road. Amazing host, extremly meticulous in ensuring you have all you need. have stayed here before and chose to stay again specifically because of the accomadations, demeanor and friendliness of the host. The home is very well stocked and well suited for a large family or group.
This turned out to be the ideal place to stay while pheasant hunting the Woonsocket area. Hosts were great! And very helpful! Located just out of town, but close enough it was easy to run in and pick up supplies. If we decide to hunt this area again I will definitely be looking to book it!

Thanks Wayne! A pleasure to have your crew stay. We look forward to next year.
Decent no frills mobile home, comfortable, large, everything you need. Needs a little updating and cleaning but it’s a good price; good location; helpful host
A trailer type home perfect for hunters. Town is very small. There was no place for sit-down breakfast. One bar with good food. Dogs accepted. Nothing fancy but house has everything you need.

There is sit-down breakfast available at Skeeters on Sunday and also at Express 2 on the east side of town during the week. It is a small town but that is what our guest usually love best.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. It was easy to load and unload all of our equipment. Everything was old, but comfortable. The primary bedroom bed was surprisingly comfortable. Make sure you go outside at night and enjoy the night sky. Wide open and undesturbed by city light.
Comfy and cozy home in the country. Quiet, beautiful views, at the edge of town. Close to gas station and groceries. 25 minutes from Huron and 35 from Mitchell. Drew and Jennifer are great hosts. They get back to any requests right away. We booked another 2 weeks so we could finish our business here. Yes we would stay here again and refer our family and friends!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer and Drew Hansen
We are a homesteading family interested in sharing the beauty of our town with others. After managing a long term rental for over 6 years, we were looking for something to do that would serve others in a bigger way. So, we found this property and decided to open it up to families and hunters alike.
Jennifer is a digital marketing expert and Drew is a tax professional, work at home dad, and former realtor. Together they have 4 children and a gaggle of animals. They are building their dreams on the northern plains of South Dakota. Long time New Jersey residents, they realized that they were meant to be mid-westerners. So, they packed up the kids, the rabbit, and the fig tree to head out on a new adventure. In a town where they knew no one, they found home.
Since then, Jennifer, Drew and their children have been active in 4H, church activities, local events, and their community.
Why they chose this property

The quiet and space of the country with easy access to town amenities. Woonsocket boasts a grocery store, three convenience shops, clothing boutique and gift shop, car wash, two restaurants, and more.
