About the host

Hosted by Merill Hill

Host profile image

Hello! We are Mitchell and Merill. Some might call us jacks of all trades. Everything on on our home has been built with our own hands, including the main house by Mitchell himself. We have a passion for the backcountry, art, leatherwork, horses, cattle, and above all else, preserving the true lifestyle and culture of Montana. We want to share our home so others get a chance to revel in the quiet, rural beauty that we cherish every day.

Why they chose this property

Mitchell's family passed this land down to him and he aims to hold onto it forever. We believe we have the most beautiful views in the valley. Pictures simply cannot do our home justice; we work hard to keep it beautiful. We hope you get the chance to enjoy everything Montana has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Bigfork is a quaint village nestled at the north shore of Flathead Lake. There are endless activities for everyone's entertainment, from horseback riding to water skiing.
Privacy, proximity and spectacular views are only some of what our town has to offer. If you need a day off of the water, venture further north to Glacier National Park to spend a day full of incredible hiking and wildlife viewing, or swing into Whitefish for upscale dining, music events and shopping.

While you are here, you can't miss out on the lavish farmer's markets in Whitefish and Bigfork - teeming with local goods, drool-worthy food trucks and lively music entertainment. For some real Montana culture, get tickets to the many rodeos hosted throughout the valley each week.
