What an absolutely beautiful cabin!! It was so neat and clean, beautifully decorated and on break taking land. The renters were such wonderful people and very accommodating. Even with getting stuck during a snowstorm it was the perfect vacation destination. We can’t wait to go back again.
Thank you for the wonderful review! You are the most amazing guests having survived a huge Adirondack storm! Who could have thought that all that would happen while away on a mountain vacation. Hats off to you for the way you handled it!
You are certainly welcome back anytime!
This cabin is just beautiful. Located in the woods with a view of the lake, you can’t get a better Adirondack experience than this cabin. Staying here brings a woodsy, peaceful feeling. Cabin kitchen is fully stocked, rooms are spacious and even games such as ping pong and air hockey in the basement. I just melted into the couch while looking out the windows at the mountains and lake. There is also a very cool lean-to that you can sit in and have your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of an early Adirondack morning and looking at the lake! Love this place!
We will be a back for sure!
Thank you so very much for your wonderful comments. We are so glad you also enjoyed the Lean-to - new to the Cabin this year compliments of Tim! Hearing that our guests have really enjoyed themselves makes what we do all worthwhile! Thank you!!
Wonderful and Beautiful Home
We loved our time at the cabin. Beautiful view of the lake. The home was spotless, nicely appointed, and had everything we needed. We used the pontoon boat six out of seven days! Our weather was great. Lots to do. Went horseback riding, to Natural Stone Bridge & Caves, Fort Ticonderoga, and Lake George Village. Recommend all highly. Tim was very responsive each time we reached out from the time we expressed interest in the cabin and during our stay. Only downside was the driveway up to the cabin. Our front-wheel drive minivan had difficulty getting up the hill. A few times we had to back down the hill and start over. Otherwise, we highly recommend the cabin and would love to go back.
Hi Guys! Sounds like you made great use of your time with the boat and the local history and attractions. Thank you for staying.
Of course, you're welcome back anytime!
Great Family Getaway
Our party of 2 adults and 6 "kids" ages 19-24 had a great time at the cabin. The place was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for: Not too cramped (was very roomy), air conditioning, fire pit, grill, decent kitchen (has an excellent kitchen), access to lake. As a bonus, it had a boat! We had great weather, with only one rainy day during our stay. On that day the kids drove down to Lake George Village and enjoyed some indoor activities there. Some other activities we enjoyed were fishing off the boat, swimming off the boat, going by boat to "downtown" Schroon Lake, taking in a movie, dinner out a couple of times, a boat tour of Lake George, using the fire pit, grilling and hanging in the basement and using the air hockey and ping pong table. You can do as little or as much as you like. The cabin was really nice and is very private - no noisy neighbors. The boat is within walking distance, but it was easier to drive there than schlepping our stuff up and down the steep driveway. Thanks Tim & Rebecca for a wonderful stay - it was nice to be able to meet you as we were departing.
