The property was just what we were looking for - a nice getaway from everything with a hot tub! It was clean and the owners were very responsive and great to work with. Would definitely recommend to others as well as stay there again ourselves if we were to return to the area.
Great place in the mountains, beautiful deck with hot tub and view of Tahquitz, communicative owners who really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Will hopefully get a chance to come back!
Once a year, my dearest friends and I take a long “Girl’s Weekend,” and this year, we chose Idyllwild. The home we stayed in was clean, tidy, comfortable, and welcoming. The amenities were as described, and we had a wonderful time exploring Idyllwild, running into Palm Springs, and then visiting Joshua Tree National Park on our way out. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay there again!
The home is spacious and well-appointed. The deck outside is large and lovely for dinner outside. The weather was a bit too hot and there is no A/C so that was a challenge but we used fans and it was bearable. The location is wonderful, near the main hiking area. We had a lovely time and appreciated the nice kitchen, TV (we got to watch Wimbeldon and the European Football final!), and king-sized bed.
The place is spacious, comfortable well equipped. The hosts are courteous and timely with their responses. The wine bottle was a great surprise. The location is perfect.
We stayed at this property for a weekend during the snow storm in idyllwild. It was magical to say the least, such a cute house. It was big and spacious, very well stocked, and just a super cozy stay. The best thing about this property is the fact that we did not have to leave to go play in the snow, we just went into the backyard which had so much fluffy snow and we could sled and play for hours there. To finish it off we went into the hot tub and it was such a nice weekend. The property owners are extremely responsive and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend coming here!
This is the second time we have stayed here. We loved it so much the first time, we brought the kids back...and they loved it too! The pictures don't do the backyard justice. It's truly magical for the kids to play amongst the trees and use their imaginations. The house feels like a home and has everything you need and more. I love that because we like to cook and we don't have to pack all our cooking stuff(pots, pans, knives, etc). The one downside of the trip(and nothing against the house) is that it was hot in Idyllwild(the one week it's hot there lol) and there is no a/c so the house does get pretty warm, but we utilized the fans and it cooled off at night. We absolutely LOVE this home and the neighborhood.
We loved this place. The location is higher up away from town, but is quiet. You see lots of trees out the windows and a nice view of Lilly Rock from the deck. The hot tub works well and is well located on the deck, just be careful stepping out as there's a little space between the main deck and where the hot tub sits. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have nice showers and good toilets. The kitchen is very spacious and the television had all the streaming channels we wanted. The place does not have central air and this was a hot weekend, but the fans worked. There's a ceiling fan in the kitchen dining room area that works well and two stand-up fans. The washer / dryer worked very well and they have lots of stuff like cotton balls and neosporin in case you forget anything! I especially liked the stovetop / oven. All in all an great place.
Really great spot to enjoy quality time with friends or family. Lots of space, big rooms, comfy beds, and adequate facilities. The property itself is quite large. The kitchen has all the necessities one would need for cooking however, I don’t think that the icemaker was working, so grab some ice. The Jacuzzi was a wonderful experience at the end of the day to sit and relax. I love that we were able to connect with the Sonos speaker for music The one thing that a little weird was that there were no curtains or blinds in the main bathroom so we all showered in the dark for privacy. Otherwise the house is really great! We would stay again in a heartbeat!
This property has so much to offer. It has a spacious deck with beautiful views of Tahquitz Rock. It is close to Strawberry creek and we could hear the water flowing. The house was amazing and so cozy. We took our mother for a Mother’s Day treat and she loved it! Thank you for sharing your home.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip and loved the home. I messaged the host about changing my dates and they were very prompt in their response. The house is lovely, well equipped, and in a great location. The home owners messaged me prior to arrival with a detailed email that answered all of my questions. We would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Perfect location - about 1.5 miles into town. We brought Ebikes and just rode them everywhere. Place was stocked with everything we could need (except a blender for margaritas!) Gorgeous deck for stargazing and very quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much!
This was a beautiful home that exceeded our expectations. It was well stocked, warm, clean, and inviting. Our family of 4 had a wonderful time enjoying the winter weather in the backyard and the hot tub! The instructions left for the house were very clear and they also left great food/beverage suggestions in their welcome book. We look forward to another family vacation at this home!
Check in was a breeze, the property was easy to locate, exactly as pictured, well stocked and thoroughly cleaned. The hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!
The cabin was very cute and nicely updated. The beds were comfortable and they had heaters in some rooms where it got colder. My only complaints were that the microwave didnt work (which was frustrating since we wanted to watm up food rather than cook) and the door to one of the bathrooms wasnt fully covered so you could see through some parts and the shower was right there. Would be better if there was more privacy in that bathroom. Other than that it was very lovely and we did enjoy our stay there. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!
House was very clean and decorated nicely. Check-in was very easy and the home owners were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property for your future visit to Idyllwild. Thank you!
