Copperfield of Centralia - Unit 1 - Centralia, IL

Please contact us about package pricing to rent Unit 1 (details below) and Unit 2 together. The two units can sleep 12 people (16 with fold out couches) and are perfect for large groups.***
Come stay at one of the coolest vacation rentals in South Central Illinois. Originally built in 1918 by a member of the Kohl family, this building has been a focal point of downtown Centralia ever since. The property features old world architecture, with its solid brick structure, rich woodwork, and spectacular courtyard. Newly remodeled with a fresh look and an old world feel, it is a comfortable place for friends and families to stay.
The main vacation rental sleeps 10 people (12 with sofa beds). There are 5 bedrooms total, 4 bedrooms that each have their own bathroom. The 5th bedroom shares a bath with another bedroom. Bathrooms feature subway tiled walls, mosaic tile floors, and clawfoot bathtubs. Bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds and TV. The newly installed kitchen and island create a great place to eat and have drinks or play games with the kids.
Being centrally located, it is within a 5 minute drive of the new Castle Ridge Wedding and Conference Center, Raccoon Lake, Foundation Park, Fairview Plaza, and much more. It is a 30 minute drive from Carlyle Lake and 20 minutes fromLake Centralia.
It is also within a 5-15 minute walking distance of the following attractions:

Currently there is no wheelchair accessibility but that will change in the future. Free Wi-Fi, Netflix, and local stations.
We take safety seriously. Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, security system, and cameras are installed. Courtyard is also gated and bedrooms lock from within with a handle and security latch. There is a first aid kit on site.

Jamie was very easy to communicate with. Check in process was a breeze. The house is absolutely beautiful! Clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable as well. Loved the shower in the master bath! Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

The house is perfect. We stay each year in late March or early April for a family holiday celebration. There’s plenty of room for meals and playing games or cards. The house has all the amenities in the kitchen if you need to cook. Would recommend staying, great location.

My friends and I reserved Copperfield for a girls weekend that included attending our friends wedding. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms allowed us all to stay together in one house. The large number of bathrooms provided the opportunity for everyone to get ready for the wedding. The kitchen is great for cooking and a good gathering spot. All rooms are very comfortable. No complaints. Close to everything in Centralia.

Check-in info was detailed and accurate. No issues at all. The space was so homey and welcoming. And James really was a God send. Coordinating for all my sisters coming from 3 different states on such a short notice for a loved one's funeral was difficult, but James was so accommodating and understanding no matter how many times I reached out to him to alter my reservation.

The house was very clean and beautiful and we had pretty much everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to play yard games together while the grandkids safely ran around the enclosed yard. The owner was very responsive and checked in on us a couple of times. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
