Very poor upkeep

We had out baby shower at this property. We live in the area but had family and friends coming from out of town so we wanted somewhere for them to stay. This house was perfect for us with the large backyard and the pool. Plus the location was reasonable to where we live. We arrived at the house. The trash was not collected from the prior renter. The grass was extremely high in the front yard and the backyard where the pool is. We contacted the property owner the first night we were there and he assured us someone would be out to cut the grass and clean the pool because the pool was filthy. Neither happened before our baby shower causing us to be limited too mainly the house and the back porch. No one besides one child got into the pool. I feel as though this house is extremely overpriced considering the owner wouldn’t even come help us when he knew the occasion we were having at his property. I wish we had booked a different property now because we got the house because of the large backyard and the pool. Which we didn’t even end up using either.

Overall pretty good

Overall the property was good. However, there are a few things that should be mentioned to a potential guest. There are cameras in the house, at first my group was not okay with this until we got in contact with the owner and he said we could cover them up. I did however look the cameras up and they could record sound so I did unplug them completely. I was fine with the ones outside because the vrbo guidelines allows that however the guidelines also say the guest has to be let known that there are cameras. We would not have found the camera had we not been looking for the WiFi password. Next the pool, overall the pool was great however the leaves. I understand that is not something that the owner can prevent 100% but thh HR e entire yard was covered in brown dead leaves. In the photo it’s a beautiful green yard yet when we arrived all the grass was pretty much dead and covered in leaves. I will give credit in the timeliness of the owner we called him to let him know the pool needed clean after a few days of rain and the pool guys were there with in the hour! Besides those few issues it was a good stay.

They put a claim that we Damage the place but that was not true

The place was On a really bad condition when we got there the head shower was not working and the Tyler on the master room wash broken and even the shower on the bus to run Warzone or really pass conditions really bad experience.

Disappointing stay when we needed it most

I don’t like writing bad reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but it has gotten to a point where I feel like I need to let other prospective renters know. I’ll start off by saying that I rented this property as we were seeing our father in the end stages of his Illness and I let the owner know how impressed Ryan’s Thai trip was. The owner provided no check in or check out procedures — not even WiFi or how to use the tv. I emailed him and didn’t hear back for three days — two days before we left. There were fruit flies everywhere, hair all over the master bath with an old loofah hanging in the shower. There were no baking pans or detergent and no access to the one TV on site. I tired to work this out with the manager who promised me a return of my cleaning bill. Five weeks later he keeps promising but to no avail. To know we were saying goodbye to our father and act this way says volumes. I’ve never written a bad review but felt others should know to avoid this properly and renter.
